This is a nice sculpt. Might even be the one that snaps my wife out of mini painting retirement.

A little Google-fu tells me Nocticula is a Queen of the Succubi in TSR's Planescape setting (but no exact book refreneces), and she also appears in Green Ronin's Book Fiends. So I guess she's a member of the demonic pantheon drow worship as hinted at by James Jacobs in a Second Darkness thread. Cool!

I wonder if Malconthet will sue for title infringement?

All the new Chronicles minis are awesome... I just wish I was any good at painting. :)

We have one person in our gaming group who is a real, honest to goodness artist, and she paints a mean miniature. The problem is, she does this kind of stuff for a living, so, oddly enough, the minis seem to fall in priority after her actual career. Go figure. The rest if us . . . not quite so talented with the old paint brush.

She dates all the way back to the 1E MM2, though only as a name in a list.

Her husband, Count Nocticula, makes a really groovy chocolatey cereal with chocolatey marshmallows.

The only named Queen of the Succubi I remember for certain in Planescape is Lynkhab, who spent eternity being mopey and riding the angsttrain.

But then again, Planescape is so huge that anyone claiming anything was certainly not in the setting is probably wrong. ;)

Oh she's got her plate full with incoming hostile takeovers now.

No. Suing is for law-loving devils. Demons resent to plain old violence...
