One more quick question: Can my mount wear a belt?

Yet another: What happens if a readied move action in response to a charge breaks a charge? Because eventually, it will happen.

We are not using age rules.

Readied charge: Chai, usually the ready is just before the attack on the charge, or on the square entered.

The point is the character then moves away. The charging character has charged in a straight line and therefore cannot follow or attack. raw.

Edge case: yes.

If you are above the walls, and have line of effect and so long as you follow the casting restrictions for each wall.

Well, if you become small via permanent reduce person you can get a size boost to ac. I believe you can get a smaller size.

Also you if you ride a mount you can duck behind your mount for cover, and get a cover bonus. Might stack with the hand.

I didn't see any luck or defender bonuses either - so jingasa will give you luck, think a luck stone will as well. Need to make an attack of course.

have your familiar sitting on your shoulder, aiding other for AC. Add on the team work feat where you both use a shield you gain a teamwork bonus.

Obherak,
Did you see my post on your build?

Share spells allows you to cast spells on your eidolon that are targeted on "you". This applies to both see invis and permenence. So as long as you buy the scroll, I think you're good on the see invis.

However, see my notes on your crafting issues.

Regarding summoner

Shared spells allows you to cast see invis on yourself as well as permanence.

Minor quibbe that magic item creation allows you not to have the prereq by adding +5 to the DC, that ins't the case with permanence, so I think he needs a scroll of see Invis. (minor cost)

Rod of Absorption: 13th CL. Spell is not known +5. spell craft DC 23. However, the spell is also of a different class, so you could make the argument dc28.

I don't see how he can cast without risk of failure, so my general ruling would be can't craft if it requires a die roll. Unless I missed something?

The luck bonus to AC is coming from the jingasa, however, this also cannot be crafted.

Moment of prescience is 15th level. Spell is not known +5, not of right class +5. Divine favor not known, and of a different class.
So DC is 30, and I would argue 40. Usually these kind of things are made via cooperative spell casting.

The other items he is 1-2 DC away from an auto success. So with a minor bonus I'd be prepared to accept it.

Suggestions:

If we end up without the correct number to make a bracket (ie., 16)
allow people to bid for the bye.

Each person must bid more than the last bidder.

Each point bid can be redeemed by 2000gp in bribe to the heralds, or 1 hero point.

Top x bids get the byes, when bidding stops.

Suggest also that after the byes, people can use 1 point to change their opponent (random draw) in any round, or two points to pick their opponent.

Verrels' Stats are correct:

Str 18 = 16 Base + 2 Enhancement (+10 pts)
Dex 16 = 14 Base + 2 Racial (+5pts)
Con 16 = 15 Base - 2 Racial + 1 Level + 2 Enhancement (+7 pts)
Int 20 = 15 Base + 2 Racial + 1 Level + 2 Enhancement (+7 pts)
Wis 12 = 10 Base + 2 Enhancement (0 pts)
Cha 7 = 7 Base (-4 pts)

Total points: 25

Great catch joshu - didn't catch the 15 pt with the +1 LA.

Urdavan stat block looks good.

Brice, build looks good:

18/-/2/6 =26
14/-/-/- =14
14/-/-/- =14
10/-/-/- =10
12/2/-/2 =16
7/2/-/- =9

17+5+5+2 -4 = 25

Varrel, it looks to me even with your gear you have a 28 point build.

Guys, to make the math easier to check could you post like this:

Stat Bought / Racial Mod / Level Adj / Gear.

So using Varrel as an example (and I may have missed some things)

St 16/-/-/2 = 18
Dex 12/2/-/2 = 16
Con 16/-2/-/2= 16
Int 16/+2/+2/+2=20
Wis 10/-/-/+2 =12
Ch 7/-/-/- = 7

Chai boy, a few comments:

1. Definitely have people post characters. Many eyes looking at builds will help spot problems. Solicit volunteers to check specific things: Ie., have someone check that wizards have the right number of spells (and have paid the right amount). Have another person check Feat prereq's. Have another do money balances, etc. Another check stat array.

2. I believe that one of the early posts stated no rests. I suggest it be standardized to either 5 round matches.

3. Darkwolf, I think you should plan that only rules as written, at least for the first event. While we all have exceptions or changes we'd probably like, to make it easier on Chai I think we should probably expect RAW.
