Here's Aden. He's a Honor Guard Stratagist Cavalier from another game that died. He'll need a little crunch massage to abide your guidelines. I'll update him over the next day or so. Role: He is a TWF tank. Best tricks are bumping adjacent allies AC through the roof. He doesn'tcare about mounted combat (his mount is a flank partner).
Will you be using Map tools or some other method for posting maps.
TWF sucks a -2 to hit. Unlike Paladins, Rangers and Fighters, Cavs get 0 class bonuses to hit. Order of the Shield and Sword are the only 2 that get a To hit bonus. And with 7-9attacks, you WANT a to hit bonus.
Your horse gets feats. Use it for a flank partner and a trip buddy by giving it improved overrun and charge through. I'll be back with more later.
Check out this profile. Sword and Shield TWF works best.
1. Grants an ATTACK bonus to your challenge, Helping all attacks hit 2. Grants an Improved Standstill class ability (to stop foes moving.away. You need to pin them to full attack them) Bodyguard and Stratagist are great because they both grant ways to get extra moves or immediate action charges. (So you can close when it's not your turn and full attack when it is) Use your teamwork feats to get coordinated charge. This is likea group pile on Get that shirt that grants an extra move action 1/day.
Check out my profile. Aden is a cavalier. Specifically an order of the shield which gets an Improved Standstill type class ability.
Combine this with the Honor guard archetype and you get FREE bodyguard feat (use AOO to improve allies AC) and the ability to either get a + to hit your challenge, or stand next to a buddy and pump his AC is awesome. Stratagist archetype lets you buff allies with Teamwork feats for longer duration.
Plus, both your order and archetypes grant free movement to interrupt enemy moves via free immediate action charges. AND you essentially get DR when you wear heavy armor (since non-leathal and leathal a both healed off the same die..eg if you have 5 leathal and 5 non-leathal then 5 healing cures ALL of it) Your mount also can block foes and overrun enemies with training. (Use him as a flank buddy of have your squishy wizard ride him+cast while the horse stays out of enemy reach) A TWF works best for burst DPR. Lots of attacks+challenge attack and damage bonus=win

I'm not sure if it will work but we are running out of time. We... could shove em towards the ropes. Intimidate them into climbing out, herd them, like sheep? They are only kids and I remember the threat of the cane got the class to do what they were told. I don't like it but it's better than letting them die
Hmm, focusing on Demons, Devils and Daemons then what would be the best element? Looking at my build I think I better only Get Energy Sub, likely needed ALOT at high levels and Intensify and Empower as my 3 feats. They are the best 3 damage metamagics.
Level 11 or 13 take Quicken

Cool. If the mount is gonna be an issue you might wanna check out this alias for ideas. Order of the shield stacks crazy good with the Honour Guard and Stratagist archetypes, Particularly with Sword/Shield or Sword/Board TWF.
Just a thought if mounted is an issue.

Actually, Durgen, I will do it. I don't have any spellcasting so better to risk me. Plus I have more HP and 1pt will convert to non-leathal. More efficient for healing
Aden sets the rope around his waist and stands as far to the side as possible, on tje opposite side of the doors hinges, hoping to avoid the swing or reduce the hit. When Hashar and Durgen give a nod they are ready, he opens the door....

Back out the door. Now! Whatever was coming seemed big, Aden backpeddles and turns for the door.
Aden hated retreat but he remembered what happened LAST time they tried to fight in a cloud.

Seeing the horror inflicted upon the bound prisoner Aden sees red. Without a word the Impulsive Cavalier CHARGES the Derro, brining hos longsword down in a mighty chop.

The ones who did this are all I can think of. Should we leave this lot here to go find the one responsible? Perhaps they can undo this. The only other thing I can think of is the church of Imodae in Magnimar might care for them or posses a cleric capable of saving them..

They are pretty sweet if ya can see the synergies of.certain orders+ feats. My challenge is awesome I get my cav-smite damage AND a morale bonus to attack, but If i pick one of you to be my charge- I instead grant you more ac when you are adjacent (archetype ability). Aden is designed to take it to the face and protect allies. Sadly, my will save sucks.... gonna have to get a wand of protection from evil. Rd2 action.
TWF Hasted Attack: Longsword, Power Attack1d20 + 9 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 1 - 1 = 12
He reaches across and makes his magically granted second attack at the bug threatening Madwand. Ducking a mandible from his bug and bringing his sword up high, cleaving Carapace and flesh underneath. Hasted Attack: Longsword PA1d20 + 9 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 9 + 1 - 1 = 29
Confirm Crit1d20 + 9 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (6) + 9 + 1 - 1 = 15

Also if the Spiders are adjacent and Madwand and I are adjacent as we face them, Aden's Bodyguard feat grants him an AOO which he can use to improve Madwand's ac by 2. Attack vs AC10 to improve madwands ac1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Thanks Agia. Also guys it would pay to check out my resolute ability. Since I convert 1point of damage to non-lethal whenever I am hit and magical healing heals BOTH lethal and non-lethal (i.e. if I had 6 lethal/6non lethal then a 6 point heal cures all of it) It's heeps cheaper to keep Aden up. I am have 1 damage now. Fort save1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
