For reference:

PRD:
Tekko-Kagi: Also known as the iron claw, this device consists of a fanlike structure of five 10-inch blades secured to a sturdy handle strapped to the forearm of the off-hand. It can be used an offensive weapon, defensively like a buckler, or to disarm an opponent's weapon without provoking an attack of opportunity. It provides its owner with a +2 circumstance bonus on attempts to disarm or sunder swords or other slender-bladed weapons.

It's classified as a light, exotic weapon that deals 1d3 piercing damage.

So I decided that the tekko-kagi would be super cool to use (despite being a pretty weak damage dealer - I'm just talking style points here). But what kind of character should use it? My first thought was a rogue or ninja, as it's easy to picture a claw-wearing guy sneaking and climbing around and stabbing people from the dark. But I also like interesting/unexpected combinations.

Any suggestions? There are two rules:
1) It must be PFS-legal.
2) It must use a tekko-kagi.

So what would all of you do?

fighter barbarian or anti pally,

fighter would get less damage but with a 13 int and a disarm build you would get nuts quick.

barbarian just for the coolness factor

anti pally _ no not PFS legal but still bad ass.

i dont think this would be a GREAT weapon to toss on a ninja only because ninjas/rogues usually dont waste actions disarming in combat. that same move and feat, could be used for improved feint.

disarm build maneuver master with this weapon would be better then the TWF fighter if youre willing to play a monk, this would be my choice.

i think i would play a build like this:
levels: M M M M M M F F M M M M (10 monk/2 fighter) bab stacks for flurry(you wont get to flurry with the claw, but you can make a full flurry with hands full according to the rules).
if you choose to play human then a feat build like this would be great
EWP claw, improved disarm, crane style, improved trip, TWF,
crane wing, greater trip, vicious stomp, combat expertise, combat reflexes, crane riposte, then break guard, to finish it off.

you will have a +4 to disarm blades and in insane ac.
so here is how the build works, you flurry someone with maneuvers you disarm them, get a free attack, then trip them, get TWO AOOs, then get 3 attacks as they are prone you will hit just about every time. pretty cool build to dismantle someone completely in combat.

So I am to understand that you think the best use of the tekko-kagi is for disarming?

your claw is not a shield, but it provides a shield bonus, if you play according to the rules like i do, that means you get +3AC when fighting defensively from your acrobatics, then add one for the claw, and one for the crane ability. that means a + 5 to ac and a bunch of crazy maneuvers you would have to sit down and study the build to understand how complex it would be in combat. i mean against one enemy in one combat round you could hit them... 7 times, trip them, disarm them taking their weapon in the process, then sit next to them ready to trip them if they get up, which would result in 2 more AOOs, lol thats nuts if you ask me.

so no it much better then just disarming, it really compliments the feats in more then one way. ac disarm bonus and coolness factor.

oh and i need to correct myself, when using maneuver flurry you get to use your non-monk weapon, so you can attack with it if you choose, i would take unarmed over the d3 but you can use it.

Be a Brawler Archetype Fighter since I believe the weapon is on their list. Get extra damage for using one at lvl 3. Make caster's lives miserable disarm people and then murder them. Profit.
