PaizoCon 2014!

Lisa Stevens Gamerati Interview

Thursday, June 21, 2012

A few weeks back Paizo CEO Lisa Stevens joined a hangout on Gamerati+ where Gen Con owner Peter Adkison and numerous other participants asked her a variety of questions about Paizo, Pathfinder Online, her gaming history, and whatever else came to mind. Check out what was asked and what insider info she had to share!

You can check out the rest of the video interview at the Paizo Publishing channel on YouTube. Thanks to Ed Healy for putting this interview series together. You can find more news and interviews from gaming industry luminaries at Gamerati.

Here are direct links to the actual interview from the Gamerati+ Hangout:
* Part the First
* Part the Second

Here are direct links to the five questions Lisa answered:
1) Ken Austin
2) Brian Berg
3) Brian H
4) Michael Brewer
5) JamesMartin

Ed, thanks for sharing the full parts links. I am listening to the first part right now and love this frank discussion about the gaming business. I've been involved in gaming for years- sometimes on the other side of the cage. Just at the part where Lisa is saying "we went to the top of Stone Mountain"... loving it. Can't wait to hear the rest of it.

My pleasure. When you're done listening, I'd love to hear your final impressions. Don't feel shy about sharing the links, either. ;)

Has it been put to text anywhere yet? Or is it just videos?

Thanks for the work you have done. Just wanted to offer my $.02 An hour video interview takes an hour to watch. A text transcript takes far, far less time. That's why I almost never consume audio or video interviews, podcasts, or presentations. I'm not trying to argue or sway you, just explain why the question was asked. Again, thanks.

Understood, Anguish, but transcribing an hour video takes multiple hours. :)

Yep, exactly. :) I wasn't trying to be rude about it (and hope I didn't come across that way), I was just curious.
