Dyrant nods to the team, getting them to move closer to the door and away from the undead and priestess.

"You should go. We have work to do."

Glimmil, having whistled for Cog to return, wiggles his legs impatiently as the doctor shakes down the do-badding priestess.

He bites his lip, unsure if they are making a wise decision, but nonethless not wishing to smite someone who has surrendered in apparent good faith.

He looks up at the ceiling as if expecting it to collapse all around them.

"Maybe she knows what we're up against?"


The woman looks at Toffitt with a tilt of her head.

"I don't think so. You have no need of my things. They pale in comparison to yours."

She grabs a handful of hair and yanks hard. She drops some hair on the ground.

"That should fit your needs."

She pauses and seems lost in thought.

"I can't really decide who I hope wins, you or the Cagewrights."

"In the next chamber is a cleric, Shebeleth Regidin. He's quite mad, but quite powerful--he can literally stop time. He has a shator (shaggy demodand) for a friend."

With that she begins to walk toward the western exit before stopping one more time.

"Goodbye my treasures. No one else may have you. Destroy each other."

The statues begin to bash at each other.


You can try to stop her or let her go, but she won't willingly comply with the demands for her items.

Glimmil watches for a few moments as the do-badding woman departs before finally coming to his senses, hopping atop Cog and approaching the completely harmless door.

"Stop time? What do we do about that? Does that mean he could literally stop time and walk around us while we're frozen in place?"

Glimmil looks down at his coin purse, as if worried this is some elaborate plan to relieve him of Skie's dowry.


Finneas and Atol can catch up with some pre door opening prep if they need to.

The passage winds a bit to the east before ending in a cavern stacked with wine and water barrels as well as shelves of food. Prior to the cavern is the door on the southern wall indicated by the priestess.

As the party debates about opening the door, it swings open to a chamber decorated lavishly as a bedchamber. Fine rugs cover the stone floors, and tapestries the walls. An ornate desk sits against one wall, emblazoned across the front with the Carcerian Eye. A wardrobe build to ebony sits near a large, four-poster bed. The room narrows tot he east, then opens into a second chamber. This one is much more spartan. The floor is bare, but has been carved once more with the symbol of the Cagewrights. An altar and font stand near the far wall, both covered in strange glowing script. Within the chapel is a shaggy demodand that glares quietly at the party.

A tall, gaunt man in nondescript dark robes stands behind the desk and greets the party.

"Welcome! Welcome to the final day of Cauldron and the first day of a new age."

He tries to resist to give the doctor or Dyrant a chance to chime in first, but simply can't resist.

"Hey! This new age... it wouldn't be an age of evil, would it?"

Glimmil eyes the shaggy demodang with suspicion.

Yep, Glimmil's flat footed AC is 31 so the attacks do indeed miss. I guess they ricochet off the armor, or the hezrou is blinded by the reflective sheen.

I didn't see a map? I'm going to assume Glim's adjacent to the hezrou since it tried to kill him.

Glimmil turns toward the loud thunk that banged againt his armor and blinks a few times.

"Hey! When did all these things appear? Did time stop?!!? Argle!"

Dyrant pauses to consider the Shator demon, confident that the others will take care of the demon breathing on his face.

Glimmil takes up Dyrant's challenge first, but he and Cog manage only a single hit.

Dyrant doesn't have to wait long though as Finneas rends the demon again and again until it poofs back to a friendlier dimension--at least for a demon.
You have the evil bonus as if the sword is holy, which sounds familiar but isn't on your character sheet. I'm assuming it is. Even it wasn't, those crits and hit would take it down.

Dyrant then moves up and glares at the remaining foes. They are unimpressed with the Cuthberite--the Kordite appears much more concerning at this time--but still suffer for a round.
