Ahhhh...you must be talking about me! Let's get aboard. The quicker we arrive, the sooner that we can get to the task at hand. Strat, I prefer to work and ply my trade in the gray areas betwixt the good and evil. That is the majority of the world, and it is certainly the most interesting, no?

"Of course, I see the five of you are already aboard. I'd say that it takes me more steps to get here which is true, but in reality I had some last minute business to attend to... paperwork and such... Cheliax is a bureaucracy like no other in Golarion and it was right for all parties to do so...", Fextor trails off realizing that he was rambling and his new teammates' likely don't care what he was up to.

You're all shown to your quarters, each allotted a very tiny and cramped cabin though even that is a luxury compared to the crews quarters. Your journey from Absalom to northwest Irrisen is long but mostly uneventful. You make land at a small fishing village just outside of trollhiem and set out for the Rendevous point.

It's a few hours hard walk to Lightfoot's camp, trudging through the snow is quite unpleasant but at least cleaner than mud. After a long hike you make it to the rendezvous. As you arrive you see half a dozen men and women most of Ulfen descent breaking down a camp, off in the corner you see a group of blue-skinned goblins chained together, their shackles pegged into the ground.
When you enter the camp a woman walks up to you and says in a very hard tone "You're late. We were supposed to leave yesterday, we can't be staying out in the open like this for long."
Looking around in wonder at the snowy mountains and the small village, Konnar often stops to say hello to every person they pass. Having occasionally seen Ulfen people from afar, they were rarely the simple folk. Used to seeing Ulfen warriors, he marvels that many of them are hardy despite not being warriors...
Yes, yes, we best get on the trail to relieve our brothers...
Apologies, we came as soon as the ship would allow. The name is Konnar, and these are my brothers, Fextor, Belegorn, Gryne, Filios, and Strat. Looking around, he adds, Did I miss anyone?

"Well cmon then, we haven't got all day." She turns around and leads you to the pegged up goblins. She gestures to each one and identifies them "That's itch, scratch, gnat, kutz, kotz and leopold. They usually do as their told but if they get out of line don't be afraid to smack em upside the head. They need em alive, not unhurt."
Is there one that looks like it might be a brother or sister of Lightfoot? Our mission said something about a Ragna Lightfoot, but Valsin told us Sverrir Lightfoot. Just checking.

EDITOkay, it seems that they made a mistake, in the faction missions and certain parts of the scenario they refer to the woman Ragna Lightfoot as Sverrir Lightfoot and vice versa. For example

Replace any instances of Sverrir with Ragna and we should be good. If you avoid any spoilers you can read the product discussion thread for frostfur captives, other people have mentioned this.
Filios nods to Konnar as he steps ever so slightly closer to Ragnar between her and the goblins as he inspects the creatursw nonchalantly with arms crossed.
The reason, I ask, is that I wish to know if there is anything else that I might need to know about keeping them alive. Do they eat anything in particular? Should we expect them to try to escape? Konnar makes sure that he keeps himself positioned opposite Filios, and makes slight gestures to accentuate his points.

Fextor has no love of goblins.
He sheaths his right arm in flames and plays with the flames making an arch from one hand to the other and looks at the goblins staring at them while speaking to everyone nearby.
"I find that fire can be used for good as well as ill..."
the flames extinguish themselves as Fextor trails off leaving a wispy trail of smoke.
Roshan:
Have we crossed into Irrisen already? Did I see any of the snow-gems that I'm looking for?
During Konnar's conversation and Fextor's fire show, I will attempt to complete my faction mission by lifting the orders off of Ragnar for Torch. I will specifically back into her position while feigning to look at the goblins, but reaching down to pilfer the orders.

Yes Lady Lightfoot, Do you have any further advice on keeping these little ones in line?
"Give em a good bite on the ear, you need to establish dominance"
Gryne Skystone wrote:
Thank you for serving your duty Lightfoot, do you have any spare manacles or rope for us in case we run into any issues?
"No in fact, we do not."
One of the Ulfen men walks over and says "We're ready to leave whenever you give the order Lieutenant" Ragna nods and says "Yes, well I hope you have a good time of it. Don't let em' catch you with your breeches down."

"I guess I was wasn't I, wouldn't want you to get into some kind of trouble now would we?" she says sweetly as she smirks at Filios. She walks over to you strat and unfurls a map. On it are two paths "You're gonna want to take this path" She says pointing to the dotted line on the left "It'll take you out of the country fastest, if the weather starts gettin tough it's gonna be impossible to get through the pass. If the snows start falling before you hit Harvest's End take the other route"

"The information is appreciated, Miss Ragna." Strat thanks the woman, purposely oblivious to the interaction between her and Filios. He does his best to memorize the two paths, making room for anyone else who wants to take a look.

"Sorry, you'd only slow us down. Besides, I've been around goblins enough for one lifetime. Even another hour is a frightening prospect."
"As I said, we can't be staying out in the open like this, you should get moving as well. Good Luck, I hope you don't die before the next time I see you." She and her Ulfen rangers depart, vanishing like ghosts into the snowy landscape.

"Does anyone speak their language?" gesturing at the blue goblins, "Or do they speak Taldane?" looking at the goblins to see if they understand my words.
Worry not my friend, I am not adept at subterfuge, otherwise I would help further. We were told to use discretion. I fear that we will fail Master Torch this day.
Good travels to you, then. May our paths cross, yet again.
Konnar then turns his attention to their blue-skinned captives. Watching the others attempt to communicate.
Filios, clearly a bit frustrated, draws his Curveblade and waves it menacingly at the group of goblins.
How about this? Do you understand the meaning of quick death, scum? No one said that ALL of you had to make it safely to the destination! Let's move, NOW!
Intimidate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
To his companions in softer tones,
We should keep the scum between us in our marching order. I will be happy to take point?
Let’s also keep them all tied together. It’s a lot harder to run off in a large group than it is individually.
Belegorn takes up a flanking position beside the group of trudging Goblins and motions to Gryne to take up the other flank.
We should pause every couple hours for food and a break. Not sure how used to a forced march these Goblins are. I hear well fed Goblins are more cooperative than tired starving ones.
Filios:
That’s a pretty big sword you got there. In a pinch, I think I have a spell to help you out with that.
I'm happy to be put wherever you need. I am fairly perceptive, and tough enough to take a hit from an ambush. I'd guess that I would be best served at front or back. Keep the casters at middle with the captives.

Roshan:
As we walk to our destination. I'll cast Detect Magic and maintain it with concentration, recasting as needed, looking for emanations that could be the snow-gems. I will spend extra time perusing areas that would be likely positions for scry-stones ie. areas with good sight-lines of the country or of well-tread areas. You can roll perception checks (+2 base, may be a mod with Detect Magic active) and I'm being Gnomish obsessive focused on this (which may grant an additional mod) to the exclusion of all else.
Oh, I also examine the goblins once I cast the first Detect Magic to see if they emanate anything.
"I'll take up the rear, as I walk slower anyways and I'll be able to cook those gobbos to well-done if they try and make a break for it."
Before we head out, Fextor casts a spell on each of the six gobbos, inscribing glowing magical glyphs on them (Arcane Mark) spelling out "Kill Me" on their foreheads.
Once finished, Fextor speaks to the goblins.
"I wouldn't recommend leaving our sides because if anyone else sees you, they'll know what to do with you."
Fextor mimes decapitation to emphasize what will be done if they leave.
Well done Goblins tell no tails, Fextor. I believe we are charged to get them there for questioning. So please, no barbequing unless absolutely necessary.
