This week with being a Holiday week we all know it is going to be tough for anyone to post. I will have no internet access at all from Wed night till Monday morning, when I come back to work, so I will not be able to post too much if at all, The GM has the right to NPC me till then if needed, I will hope how ever that the GM will keep my char in tact and not do anything out of the norm for my PC

If we cant get that grate open I dont see them surviving. At full hp running thru those fire filled areas would likely kill them at this point, much less in their current condition.

Perhaps they could burn the rest of their hero points to run back up. I dunno if the GM allows Hero Point sharing, but if others want to save their hide perhaps that could be done.

Aoro has the charts or at least some of them. Also not to sound like a jerk but I personally dont like handwaving. Not like the players are getting removed from the game, just have to get new PCs.
Believe me depending on the game it could happen alot. Death magic and disintegration let me count the ways. xP

looking at the posts Aoro you looked at the charts. Lanliss was in possession of the maps. Lanlis then gave them to Duo. Who's gear is now on fire along with Duo. It is safe to say the maps are gone along with my gear. As the most protection they had is a backpack. If the backpack survives so should all the rest of my gear as the backpack is the easiest to destroy. (the majority of my gear is held in the backpack.)

Duo I think you misread, both Lanliss and Aoro went in to get charts. Lanliss gave you what he had to go back inside and look for more. Aoro just looked over what he got. He never gave anyone his charts. Also noticed Lanliss posted he still had his charts after the post about giving them to you so dont know what that is about.

freaked out isn't the correct word.
Duo isn't use to seeing maps as Undine's I don't believe used maps they just taught there community the surrounding area. thus no need for them to have maps. Thus maps would have no value to Duo and the need for something of value would push him further into the ship. I acted my character out as I felt he would act.

I've got actions for Alestone and Sunny specifically. Aoro, do you want to do something different from the previous rounds? Duo's unconscious, but could spend hero points to avoid death if he wants. Lanliss, what are you doing?

The threat of death is real I knew this running in. Just didn't figure there would be all that in the way... I regret nothing Duo's background as part of the Undine community would have made those maps meaningless to Duo as they teach there young the lay of the land and don't use maps, just experience. So Duo wouldn't have known the value of the maps until he was told. This meant Duo would push on at to bring back treasure at all costs to avoid punishment. With great risk often comes great rewards.

#1 Duo is prone and next to 2+ baddies. (moving provokes)
#2 Duo is now thanks to poison 1 str from heavy load, meaning 20 ft movement and his AC becomes 12.
#3 Duo is on fire.
#4 Duo is the primary target of the cultist, even though he has no holy symbol(Oracles don't need a deity like a Cleric does so no need for the symbol) and doesn't speak to cast spells.(Oracles curse deaf does this at no penalty.)
#5 If the character spends 2 hero points, the GM can decide that the damage is reduced enough to prevent him from being killed. (Ok I'm still dead next turn as the fire is still in effect and a big chunk of the baddie group is next to me. As this only puts me at -9 of -10 and stable but, doesn't stop the fire or help me get away from the baddies next to me.)
So... yea I'll be working on a new character asap.

What gold amount should the level twos get? Wealth by level? aka 1,000gp
we started with average starting wealth per class, 175 gp for a gunslinger.
