Tolinath "Red" Bronzebeard |
Tolinath grins at the goblin bomber, steps up hefting his large Dwarven Waraxe and brings it down with enough force to nearly split the stone floor below its feet.
Large Dwarven Waraxe + Hatred: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 3 + 1 = 24
To confirm x3: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 1 = 14

Durvak Stoutheart |
Standing back up, the dwarf dusts himself off before taking a tentative step forward. Looking from one bleeding companion, to the other, he lets out an audible groan, fingering his own burns.
"Irori...Hep us now...be nice." he mumbles, as the fist on his cheek glows the friendly blue, before exploding outward.
Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Not sure how the height will play into this, but 30' burst -- to all in range
Kargath Curse-Blood |
With the goblin down and rolling, Kargath winces as Tolinath's Large axe comes down with the skill of a skilled executioner, surely relieving the goblin of the burden of life. Incase the foe proves much hardier than they were expecting however, the Archer readies an arrow to take it out should it stand.
Readied arrow, PBS Precise shot: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 15 for damag: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Wraith {Gōsutoha ~Ghost Lotus} |
Wraith welcomes the healing energy with relief. She walks up to the edge and thanks Durvak down below. To Tolinath, "Well struck. Let's see if this one has anything helpful, or at least of interest, shall we?"
Wraith then proceeds to check the goblin for items of consequence.
Tolinath "Red" Bronzebeard |

Satisfied with his own wounds, he turns to the others. "Any yous needen a touch, cummere." With a mere shrug he adds "Yous kin 'ave dat stuffs. Durvak no need."
He'll gladly use the wand on those that need, or use theirs on them if they have one.
Tolinath "Red" Bronzebeard |
Hefting the bloody axe and placing it back on his back. "If you do no' min' Durvak I would appreciate the divine light you bring. I doubt I'll need any of them alchemist's toys. Just try no' ta hit me with'm." he finishes with a wink.

Wraith {Gōsutoha ~Ghost Lotus} |
After receiving magical healing from Durvak, "My thanks to you. Being my first mission, I have yet to have an opportunity to purchase any healing. Rest assured, a curative wand such as yours will be my first purchase."
First game is always tough for healing. Seriously, thanks for sharing.
Kargath Curse-Blood |
Yeah thanks ^^
Nodding to the dwarf in thanks, Kargath goes through the alchemist's belongings and takes some of the liquid fire, should it prove useful to them. Patting off his singed hides the Archer ensures his allies are ready before drawing his bow once more and indicating his readiness to proceed.
"where. Ekkie? This. Boss?" he asks as he looks around.
Wraith {Gōsutoha ~Ghost Lotus} |
Wraith scoops up two of the Alchemist's Fires, one of the acid flasks and the sneezing powder.

To make sure we finish on time, I am fast forwarding to the final encounter.
The pathfinder's make there way through the sewers facing no more opposition.
They come to a large room. Two rows of pillars support the arched roof of this long hall. At one end stands a makeshift throne constructed from the broken remains of a smashed statue and other cracked blocks of masonry.
A figure in front of the throne yells out to the group. You finally made it here. Whoever leads you, come and let us speak of peace.
If more than one person, approaches, it yells out to only speak to the leader.

Deenha then starts to move forward. She will stay a bit back from the throne, making it appear that the distance is about respect.

However, she is too distracted to cast properly. She then begins to play and sing. Starting inspire courage.
I think the action economy works there. Free to talk, standard to cast, move to start inspire courage.
No reroll, unfortunately, unless someone else has one they are willing to give.

Out of Combat
The pathfinders come together to search the remains of the sewer systems, finding no more goblins. They do find what they believe is the bosses bed chamber. By the bed is a beaten chest containing the bosses takings from the Nightsoil Marauders’ operations, including emblems and tokens of rival crime organizations in Magnimar: a set of miniature scales carved from black onyx stolen from an inattentive Night Scale thief, several Varisian scarves and knives taken from Sczarni thugs, an ornamental star of Desna filched from one of the Gallowed, a broken klar that belonged to a Shoanti gang leader, and most importantly, a golden Aspis Consortium badge. At the bottom of the chest, well hidden from her superstitious goblin minions, are her scrawled notes detailing her plans to take over Magnimar.
With Bug Bosses defeat, the leadership of the Nightsoil Marauders is disrupted, and any remaining goblins quickly disband into small, disorganized groups posing little threat. The trinkets retrieved by the PCs from the guild’s headquarters are put to good use by the Society, as returning some of these help improve relations with factions of Magnimar’s underworld. The Society has plans to use the gold Aspis badge as vital part of an important covert operation against the Consortium. If Ekkie manages to survive the adventure, her final fate is ultimately up the PCs.

Kargath Curse-Blood |
Letting out a sigh as his arrow drops the beast, Kargath grins and nods to Deenha at her well placed shot. Stepping in to the chamber, he glares as the goblin flees but ultimately ignores the wretched creature, there had been a lot of blood shed already after all. Following the others in a thorough search and collecting the trinkets and treasures of the Nightsoil marauders, Kargath ponders his journey on the way back to Heidmarch Manor. It had been his first taste of adventure with others and he found that he enjoyed it after all.
Back in the Manor, the Hunter listens to Venture Captain heidmarch's debrief before bidding farewell to his allies.
