Let me know if that works for totals. Since I assume there's nothing he can use for cover...

Kellen drinks his potion of invisibility and then gets up once he has disappeared. After that - move as close as possible for a strike.

Lym drops a rubbery, suction-cupped piece of spell component back in her belt pouch when Kellen disappears and she determines his next most likely action. The Wizard changed tack, her voice rising in the rhythmic cadence of a summoning spell as she raises her hands in the proper stance of invocation.

Summon monster IV.

Yeah, this is probably not possible but I figured what the hey. This is at least 2 rounds worth of actions I'd say if this is possible at all. :P

+2 on your Reflex save. It's not really 'difficult terrain' per se. So you made it the first 30' (60' double move?) That work?

No way I can't let you do this! This round you are getting ready for the slide, next round round will need a Ref save DC 15 to not crash at the bottom - basically heap o' dwarf - no damage or anything.

Rhianni begins speaking, a dark tale about the depredations of an army of undead on a frozen village. In the end, the hero wins, but loses his true love.

The roll of 30 is not enough after the remaining penalties. -4 for melee (negated by Precise Shot), -4 for cover, +1 for Prayer = 27. Which is a miss. In case you were wondering why: Lamatar maintains all of his abilities and gear from his time as a Captain of the Black Arrows. Spells included. To that point:

Spellcraft DC 20:
Lamatar appears to have used his ranger abilites to buff himself. One of the spells appears to be Barkskin. Another is Fire Resistance.

GM Screen:

Blades and arrows fly, and Lamatar fights like...well...a Black Arrow. You've seen it before in Vale and Jakardros, and Lamatar was their Captain. In life, the man must have been formidable indeed. But your attacks have taken their toll. The frost wight horror is greatly weakened, and only hatred of the living keeps it going now.

Tomaru wrote:

Really really. It's not like he is on a castle wall looking down, it's just some steps. I mean seriously, Praxim has wrecked everything he has shot at so far, that wasn't going to continue indefinitely. In the end it doesn't matter anyway....

The hound archon whirls its greatsword over its head, bringing it down on top of Lamatar's frozen helm. There is a 'crunch' as the blade shatters ice and bone, and the force of it drives the wight to its knees. There, Thordak's trident impales the former Black Ranger. For a moment, the wight is held up by the weapon, but as Thordak yanks it free, he falls face down on the floor.

Quick search: +1 icy burst composite longbow, +2 mithral chainshirt, +2 ring of protection, +1 amulet of natural armor, +1 cloak of resistance.

When the surge of the fight ends, Kellen for his part slumps down to examine the body - clearly fatigued from the wight's attacks.

As he checks the items to be found, he asks grimly of all: "So...do we have to drag his whole corpse back or will a hand or head do the trick for his resurrection?"

He also eyes warily to the entrance they came through. "Think those witches will be coming to check on their handiwork?"

I will note equipment on the checklist for now. If we are looking at stuff, might be partial to the chainshirt or ring. If Praxim isn't interested in it, might also be time to ditch my crossbow and take up longbow.

Praxim currently has a +1 ring, but he very rarely gets in melee, so if someone else could make better use of it, by all means.

The level of frost seems to fade as Lamatar does, while not completely free of it. The deadly chill lessens somewhat. A simple search of the room turns up nothing.

The icy stairs are difficult, but once managed you face a long, tall passage leading away right.
