Velag Wordeater |
Board ate my post! And dingoes ate my baby!
Velag glares at the thing and says, "We here to help lizzies and gobbies and all that not froggies in swamp.... Who you help?"
GM Goblin King |
I am a bringer of news to the lesser-travelled, a teller of tales, a good ally and a deadly enemy. The boggards here admire me for my stunning beauty and engrossing tales. I have seen many things around here. Yessss, many, many things...
GM Goblin King |
I don't work for anyone. It's just interesting to watch things as they change. I must ssssssay, I've never ssssseen ssso many boggards in all my days. Sssssomething is up.
And here comes a band of lowly goblins, able to wipe out boggards like they were nothing. For every action, there is a counter. T'was ever thussss.
GM Goblin King |
Tossss that gold here in the water. I can get it later. Then, I'm sure I can give you ssssome ussssseful information. Come along, now.
Klepy wants nothing more than to do as the creature says.
GM Goblin King |
Earlier, Velag tried to id the creature using creature lore. Just in case the DM missed that.
He didn't get it.
The creature smiles as Klepy retrieves the gold and brings it to the water's edge.
GM Goblin King |
You've never seen a naga before? I guess I'm not surprised.
The gold bar is heavy, but Klepy gets ready to toss it in the drink.
Tark Bashflat |
"Klepy, you is so 'tupid. Why you give away your shinies?"
Once Tark actually hears himself say this, he realizes something is amiss. Klepy give up shinies?
While holding his maul in one hand, Tark slowly reaches down with his other hand and unties a throwing hammer.
Stealth check: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19
Once the hammer is in hand, Tark then sends a subtle message to the others.
"HAAARRRRRUUUUU!!!!!!", as he winds up and releases the hammer.
I'm not sure if we get a suprise round or not, so I did not roll Tark's attack roll at this time.
Klepy |
Okay Klepy's shiny is in danger, that adds an additional +20 to the will save and Klepy is going to tap into that chaotic evil nature of his. STICKY TIME!!!
Klepy will, as soon as is able, throw his concealed daggers at it
In case slight of hand is needed to hide them, 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24
If not I will use vanish get within 10 feet. Then on the following turn or 6 seconds material use my ranged daggers to attack!
And attack:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23 For:1d3 + 4d8 ⇒ (1) + (8, 4, 6, 5) = 24
Attack again:1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27 For:1d3 + 4d8 ⇒ (2) + (4, 5, 5, 2) = 18
4 bleed damage for each hit :p
P.S. I know what I am doing and I am sticking to it. I will accept the consequences of my actions. Hehe, I am going to die.
Velag Wordeater |
Velag tries to wrack his brain, What am weaknesses of naggie? Me think me eat book with something about them once.. Creature Lore: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
As Klepy starts to step forward, Velag does also, carefully, his hands near but not on his weapons, thinking, Me got shinies for you, toos.

OK. There was no surprise round because people were talking. The naga cast a spell on Klepy. He failed his save. I don't know where the +20 comes from. Casting a spell is a standard action. A full attack is a full round action. The naga got the spell off because he's a naga.
INIT:
Velag
Tark
Bucko
Pluk
Klepy (rolled a 1)
We'll start over in this order, after Klepy grabs the gold and follows the naga's suggestion.
You get one round's worth of actions. If anybody wants to stop Klepy from throwing treasure to Pluk, now's the time.
Velag Wordeater |
Velag won't care too much about 1 brick of gold, ultimately, he's much more peeved about the use of magic against them. So, it's all about beating down the naga -- before I make any rolls which spells would still be active from when we squished Vorka?

7 round spells are gone. 7 minute spells would still be up.
GM Goblin King |
It's back! Couldn't get on here for a couple of days. Looks like it got fixed.

Velag Wordeater |
Velag narrows his eyes and draws back his bow with a snarl, feeling rage that this thing would enchant one of his companions. The rage burns hot within him, reaching out to the Grey Master's Hatred, which he focuses into his bow and says, "You magicked usses? We not likeses that."
+1 Comp. Longbow: 1d20 + 12 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 12 + 1 + 2 = 22 {Point-Blank, Bane} for 1d6 + 2 + 1 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 + (3, 5) = 15 {Point-Blank, Bane}
Velag Wordeater |
Velag throws a few chunks of dried scrag into the water where the Naga dove, "Give face-snake a playmate. It get hungry from all the healies it need do. Maybe we get lucky and each piece make new friend for snakey?"
