Heading back toward the northeast, you skirt the northern edge of the forest burnt by the fiery elk. Bushwhacking through the deep forest, you come to a dense stand of trees, the spaces between them obscured by thick webs and piled branches. The interior of the stand is dark, almost like a cave. The entrance is large enough for a horse to pass through.

Cool Grapple Facts: Barring special text (which thematically, these things should have by how they look, IMO), a non-adjacent character getting grappled moves to the nearest adjacent square to the grappler. These "things-I-don't-know-IC" have pull because they can only grapple one thing at a time, but love having their Reach AoOs. Plus, slapping something three times and dragging it closer each hit is scary; getting grappled trying to run away is doubly so.

Algonzo wriggles around, and channels positive energy for the first time (and because concentrating in a grapple against big things is hard!) Alas, Razmir sees greatness in ALL creatures, so everyone (even the heathen and the tree) are affected. No selective.

"Nope, he's a meanie!" Roger and Roo move towards the evil tree and punch it!

Akaash recognizes the tree as a hangman tree. He knows these plants has normal plant traits, but are vunerable to electricity, though all types of weapons damage it normally. He also recollects that these trees have spores that cause one to hallucinate, as he can attest to. As well, he remembers that its vines can pull, constrict, and strangle a person before the tree swallows its victim whole!

Armed with this knowlege, Akaash hurls a bomb, hitting and burning the tree!

    Algonso channels healing energy!

Roger! strikes the tree, but Roo misses!

per strangle, Algonso can't cast anything with a verbal component.

The tree's vines grasp Algonso tighter, pulling him closer, squeezing and stangling him!

    Party up!
