Despite the maneuverability of the ship, the living crew is unable to hit the undead craft. Unfortunately, they once again have been flanked and are unable to fire back.

Frustrated at the empty exchange Rig calls for rebuilding their shields as he pilots the ship at a rare level of excellence.

Inside the Endless Threnody, the undead engineer pushes the struggling power core to divert power to the engines, to give them a boost in speed. As the ship lurches with the new found speed, the pilot attempts to push the ship further to allow them the get into a good spot to damage the Loreseeker.

Endless Threnody rolls:

Gotcha. That means the enemy is currently facing the same direction, right? He did it go from facing left to its current facing in one move? And looking at the move indicator from our previous turn I have no idea how we are facing the way we are. Help?

Successful maneuver check reduced distance between turns to 1 for the enemy ship. At the end of the move, it turned one last time since it had moved the requisite spaces prior. As for the facing of your ship, I agree with you. I have adjusted it in a way that makes sense for the previous actions.

OK, at this point, everything has stalled enough and everyone is getting frustrated enough that I'm going to make one GM post or two to get you moving forward again. It looks like everyone on your team has gone on this round other than Morodda.

The Endless Threnody is unable to fire on you because of the direction it is facing.

Morodda fires at the undead-run craft.
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
His shot passes over the top of the Endless Threnody.

no changes this round.

E.T piloting: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Rig piloting: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

I've moved the ships back to the center of the map so you have room to work

The enemy pilot tries a flip and burn.
piloting: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
That fails, so the enemy ship limps forward but does not turn.

You may all act now, and either your GM or I will adjust as needed.

Sorry Redelia. Maybe too fast. I never moved the ship last time (DId you move it for me?) and am not sure all my team mates posted their actions. And I am not sure what your arrow means on the ship. We had worked out a convention that says the triangle touches the side the ship is facing. Are you using that?

"Doom Girl" // ♫ // ◇ ◈ ↺ // PbP Events // // PbP GM Kit // Year of Fortune's Fall // DA Duology Maps

Would it be helpful if I replaced the ship tokens with something with obvious facing? Actually, looking at it, the arrows look like they'll work. We'll go with your convention that the arrows indicate the facing of the ship, since that's what you've been doing.

As for your movement.... You had posted a piloting roll, so I'm pretty sure that Redelia thought you had moved. But as you were lined up with their backside, your perfect move as a pilot would be to do evasive maneuvers in place and keep your sweet, sweet shooting position.

You are still facing their backside. What would you like to do?
