Laboriously adding Hakon into Hero Lab. There are all kinds of wee errors--Skalds don't get Guidance, he has 1 extra Feat, his stats are off. Should I go with Hakon as printed, or adjust to correct?
Also, he has the worst Rage Power ever: Superstition. The ENTIRE PARTY will not be able to be buffed or healed while in combat. I'm baffled and amazed. Can people elect to not be affected? o.0

Ax, in regards to Hakon's Inspired Rage:
Allies can accept the bonuses and penalties on a round by round basis
When activating his inspired rage song, Hakon may choose to give all allies who accept the song’s effects a +3 morale bonus on saving throws against spells, spell-like abilities, and supernatural abilities. If he does, they can’t be a willing target of any spell and must attempt saving throws to resist all spells, even those cast by allies.
It looks like party members can choose weather or not to take the initial effects, and then Hakon can add the extra effects (and spell block) to those under it's influence.
I also saw the discrepancies when building him in HL, but just played him with stats as written.

That wording really ought to be added to the Skald class itself in the PRD! Grr. Thanks, Thaddeus. Party on, dudes.
It is, but it's under the Raging Song section. Hakon's sheet is more concise.
If a raging song affects allies, when the skald begins a raging song and at the start of each ally's turn in which they can hear the raging song, the skald's allies must decide whether to accept or refuse its effects. This is not an action. Unconscious allies automatically accept the song. If accepted, the raging song's effects last for that ally's turn or until the song ends, whichever comes first.
It sounds like allies can choose to refuse it, but otherwise it's fairly automatic. But you can refuse it on a turn-by-turn basis, so as long as everyone knows what the song does, they can choose for themselves.
It does make me wonder what would happen if you activated the song while one of your allies was dominated. Would they get the bonus? Would they be affected? Would the extra aspect of the song dispel the mind-control?

Oh NOW I get it! Thank you, Thaddeus! Allies (chosen) can elect to get Inspired Rage, or Superstition, or both, or neither. Or do they have to choose only both or neither? I can't tell. GM?
Hakon must decide whether or not to include the morale bonus when he starts the song. Allies accept or refuse all affects of the song. Hakon offers it to all allies who can accept [hear] it.
Hope that helps. Refs below.
As a standard action, Hakon can give all allies who accept it a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution, a +2 morale bonus to Will saves, and a –1 penalty to AC.
A raging song has audible components, but not visual components. Affected allies must be able to hear the skald for the song to have any effect. A deaf skald has a 20% chance to fail when attempting to use a raging song. If he fails this check, the attempt still counts against his daily limit. Deaf creatures are immune to raging songs.

I play a skald - too high level for this game - if you accept the song - you get the rage power -
but it looks like the party is mostly non-casters so don't worry, my shaman doesn't really cast spells on allies. ;)
The big problem with inspired rage and superstitious is that if you are unconscious you are assumed to be accepting the song - which means you have to make saves to get cured while unconscious.
