Zandu sighs as the Venture-Captain disappears before feeling around for him for a awhile then moving to find the stash he was trying to hide.

Digging between the cushions of the couch, Zandu pulls out a Pathfinder Chronicle with another book nestled inside it. The second book appears intended solely for entertainment and features lewd images of several prominent women, including a few deities.

A search of the first floor of the lodge uncovers a kitchen full of startled halfling slaves but nothing of interest and no upset Venture-Captains.

The party takes the search upstairs where they happen upon the lodge's guest quarters. These rooms look to be meticulously cared for but unoccupied and containing nothing of interest.

Lastly the party comes to a pair of double doors that presumably lead to the lodge's master suite. They are locked and, more curiously, look to be frozen shut. The same thick layer of ice that has sealed the doors also spreads along the floor out into the hallway.

After a minute of concentration, the contents of the room become clear to Butyl.

Butyl:
A sheet of ice covers the floor of this opulent bedchamber, and the walls drip with layers of glittering rime. Soft, faint light through the frost-covered windows accentuates icicles dripping from a canopy bed. Your breath condenses before your eyes and hangs in the air momentarily before dissipating. An ornate fireplace occupies the east wall, and burns with cold, blue fire. On the opposite wall, you can barely discern the shape of floor–to-ceiling bookshelves under the thick frost that has transformed the room into an ice cave. A desk and several salon couches lay overturned in the middle of the floor.

A monstrous insect-like humanoid is seated in the lotus position atop the frozen bed as if it were a throne. At its flanks are two enormous demonic hounds with eyes that burn like white-hot embers. Kneeling at the foot of the bed is Venture-Captain Keel.

Ok after haste all is ready Shade will fly ten feet up asking to ensure there is clearance, five feet above and next to Mary's head and quicken invis followed by dimension door where Butyl says it is clear so that Mary and Zandu are in front in melee and Butyl and I are in back.

I think we only have the 1 D-Door caster anyway. We can't get everyone in in one trip.


Butyl recognizes the hounds as cocytan warhounds, bestial (evil, extraplanar, fire, lawful) outsiders. Their breath is super-chilled which makes their bite attack extra dangerous and periodically they can breathe a cone of deadly freezing air.

After preparing thoroughly, the party disappears and reappears within the master suite.

Based on those rolls, Zarzuket should be up before the hounds too.

Butyl lets out a primal roar, and casts a spell to send the hounds back to Hell. Banishment, DC 24 Will save. Targeting all the enemies and Keel, just in case. I'll present my holy symbol (which is of a good-aligned deity), and I think that should qualify as something that the hounds "oppose," boosting the DC to 26.

I don't think Create Pit would work like that. Also, See Invisibility is a "personal" spell, so no casting it on other people.

What if I move next to Zandu, then ready a Teleport to get us back out there when Zarzuket moves in range? Then you'd still have a standard action to cast, and Zandu has his full turn.
