The cavern has a smooth stone floor and rough walls. A mess of vines hangs from the 40-foot-high ceiling, stretching from wall to wall. Standing at the chambers center are a number of savage Mwangi dressed in little more than loincloths and bearing gleaming spears. More savages can be seen high in the air, hanging from the vines while bracing themselves against the cavern walls.

As soon as as the cultists set sight on the party, they howl and attack!

That's a good idea but you can't actually target objects with magic missile. Scorching ray would do the trick.

You can't really do that either but flaming sphere can 'jump' up the 30 feet so sure I'll allow it but it only hits one target at a time.

This small chamber contains mounds of filthy rags, gnawed bones, and a few malformed, undernourished, apelike creatures. The smell of excrement is overpowering.

The strange monkey children fill the floor and walls of this chamber, resting on every ledge and in every nook they can find. They make no move to attack and seem to pose no threat to the party aside from their wailing and screeching.

The party's progress is blocked by an immobile curtain of swirling blades.

The most noticeable and harrowing feature of this room is the 60-foot-tall statue of Angazhan carved into the west wall. At its feet stands a candle-laden altar, upon which a female human lies bound. Two giant murals flank the statue, painted with mud, blood, and more unmentionable substances. Like much of the rest of the cave, vines cover the ceiling, though these vines hang fifty feet or more above the ground.

Standing over the prone bound woman is a huge heavily armored ape wielding a cruelly barbed spear. The beast's spear and fists glow with unholy power and its form blurs slightly when it moves. Seeing Atum, he beats his broad chest in challenge.

The smaller gorilla charges toward the its master only to be similarly stopped by the unseen barrier.

The huge ape chuckles darkly and reaches out with a huge glowing paw for Mousebane.
