The elemental swats one of the archers sending him flying through the air.

The swordsman shakes of Zarzuket's glittering spell but the archer cries out in panic as he's robbed of his sight.
Realizing he's been ensorcelled, the swordsman turns on his heels again and charges back toward the elemental. "For the Revolution!" he shouts as he brings his blade to bear again.

This time the elemental connects with the swordsman blocking it solidly and the man sails through the air. He grabs for the ledge on the way down but he fails to get a strong grip.

Markavious's magic missiles and a solid blow from Gregor's mace make short work of the second bugbear.
The surviving archer continues to retreat while rubbing at his eyes.

Suddenly a female voice calls out from the farthest end of the cavern (beyond the range of darkvision), "Spirit of the Revolution, aid us! Strike down these invaders!" For a moment there's only silence and then a brilliant light fills the cavern revealing a pale young woman clad in a green cloak. She holds her right hand high overhead on which a ring shines like the sun. At her side is the foppish elf in the powder blue shirt that stole the Pale Maiden during the attack on the lodge.
A red-orange light fills the crevasse under the bridge. The light rapidly grows brighter suggesting the source was about to breach the surface.
The party is up. Everyone's in the same block of initiative now.

"Do as I've asked and I promise you your lives. Enough blood has been sp- AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" she screams as she's interrupted by Zarzuket's powerful spell. The entropic magic leaves her partially skinned and bleeding profusely but she somehow survives.
"A trick", she manages between gasps. "I should have known. You are villains. I know this without a doubt now. Spirit of the Revolution, show them no mercy."
Mother Magda and Markavious have actions for this round still. Negotiations are no longer an option.

A gargantuan raven seemingly made of roaring flames emerges from the crevesse. It turns to look in the woman's direction and then pivots in the air towards the party.
With a flap of its powerful wings a towering sheet of flames erupts along the far side of the bridge. With another it sets off a series of explosions down the bridge and across the party's ranks.
Wall of Fire damage vs Elemental (no save): 1d4 ⇒ 3
Fire Aura damage vs Elemental (reflex 25 negates): 4d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 4) = 15

The partially disintegrated woman prepares a spell. The elf at her side does the same. They're readying.
