"How many o' these arrow slits can you open up, Kay?" Ed asks before they depart in the morning. "We should probably pick one before hand, so we know we're all in the same place, yeah?"

Once he takes the vials from Lief, he keeps his pace even, making sure he's headed to the right spot, he keeps his eyes peeled. He knows the drow are no stranger to magic, and doesn't want to be taken unaware. He keeps his bow ready for firing.

Wonder how quick the dogs'll pick us up this time.

Moved a couple of you around on the map assuming everyone is headed for the same arrow slit. You cannot quite see the glyph from your vantage point, but the purplish glow is there, and lighting the room as Allarnon reported. You also see a slender drow working in an exceptional alchemy lab. The demon Allarnon described is there too, and a handful of drow can be seen or heard moving about.

It takes a moment to take this all in, and in that short time, you gain hear the baying of a hound - as the dog catches your scent and begins to bark.

The drow, clearly the one they call Drexinis, disappears.* I left him on the map at his last known location. Kaylayne is up in the surprise round, and Allarnon in round one!

Still Swirling Allarnon grunts as he squeezes into the room. Once inside he positions himself near the door and concentration of drow as his body begins to audible snap and contort. While still invisible he let's out a roar to draw attention to himself as his body snaps forward into a bear.

Wild Shape from Air Elemental to Bear.

As he tries to remain quiet it is incredibly difficult as the wild shaping process is impossibly painful.

Drexinis, believing himself to be invisible to you, casts a spell*, calls out in elven, ”Prepare for attack you mangy dogs.” before moving off.

Allarnon:
You see an invisible dog barking at the now widened arrow slit and at you. The dog is just east of you, but looks to be made of spell-stuff - not flesh. It is not moving.

The magical symbol emits a field of foreboding, as if warning that none will be permitted to pass, no matter the righteousness of their cause. It does not crackle with electricity as that glyph is destroyed…

Lief:
You hear in your head, “I am the armor and the shield of my mistress, and I fear you not.”

Any spell that creates a fear effect deactivates the ward for 1 round if cast within 10 feet of the glyph. If cast directly on it, the glyph suffers 50 points of damage in addition to losing its aura and all energy resistance for 1 round.

A character that touches the glyph can feel the protective field emanating off the magical symbol. The glyph must be convinced that the person touching it doesn’t find the glyph’s mistress to be a threat. As a full round action, a character touching or adjacent to the glyph may attempt an Intimidate check to so convince the glyph.

This deactivates the aura as if a spell key had been cast. Three consecutive successful Intimidate checks made to calm the glyph deactivate it permanently.

"There is an invisible dog in the chambers!" Allarnon roars as he charges in, snapping his jaws at Drexis. With the extra hasted speed he is able to quickly shift around the demon and trap both the demon and Drexis in.

As Allarnon passes by the invisible hound, it strikes out at him, biting, or trying to.

Allarnon appears, no long invisible, his toothy mouth embedded in Drexinis’ side.

Drexinis, a look of shock clearly showing on his face for all to see (well, all who can see invisible creatures), recognizes the reach of the large bear, and casts defensively.

Ederin starts with green (for my sanity) and though he doesn’t drop him (fumble) he does drive him down most ferociously. Lief gives what information he has, and injures the drow next to him. Dimitrio leaps upon orange, his rapier driving deep into the drow and finishing what Lief began as the drow drops quietly to he floor, bleeding. Kaylayne distracts the demon hoping to help Allarnon.

Lief all but takes out pink with a flurry of attacks. Ederin however finishes pink and takes out green, removing the last of the preppy threat. Dimitrio steps up on the glyph and tries to intimidate it, but fails initially - having trouble intimidating an inanimate object (One roll per round, but I’ll use your next two rolls on the next two rounds.). Kaylayne blocks the main doors with a wall of stone, firm and heavy.

The last remaining drow, in something of a panic seeing his fellows cut down so easily, tries one more time to slow Ederin’s advance.
