Fascinating A dwarf is it true that you have no women. That you are born from the earth it's self? The accounts in Livinius's Peoples of the world contradicts. Khalid's Born on the mountain. A Half Orc as well you must be very fearsome to have survived the birthing pits. Did you truly kill and eat all your siblings? Turns to the rest of the group. Livinius states that only the strongest are allowed to live. All the pups of a litter are put into a pit with no food and water. Till only one remains. To join the tribe.

Looks down at Myrgar. Ah Goblianis Flatuas Don't know much about you. That part of the book was burned. Livinius Died while writing that part.

Well it is a pleasure to meet you all I am Allera Defalco. Please just call me Ally. All my friends do.

Absalom, the city at the center of the world. If you need something you can find it here. Whether to learn, find a quest,or simply add some variety to life, this is the place to go. It is like its own world inside of Golorian, the center of trade and modern life for many. Of course there is crime,a city so large could not be without it. There is never a night when a body is found adrift, but the locals know this and pay it no heed. You've all traveled here for your own reasons. On the rumor of a mighty beast to be slain,or a quest for a long lost relative. One might already be in Absalom itself,it being his city of birth. Some may be searching for the correct path or just wandering, that is what has brought you here.

You've all arrived rather recently,or lived there in Ally's case. None of you know each other and are going about your business today.

I'll give you a post or two to explain what you're doing on this fine morning.

Allera wonders down the market street. Looking for any books of sufficient quality to add to her collection. Occasionally traveling merchants or adventures. Will sell there extra wares in the market.

Oh to be able to go on an adventure. To explore a dungeon or an abandoned castle. *sigh* But one does not simple go on adventures. Adventures find you!

As she passes by another stall this one with a couple of ragged but tuff looking individuals. She notices several books a staff and spell component pouches filled with various items.
This is an odd assortment of items. She states to the seller.

The larger of the two turns to her and says. Yes miss it used to belong to our friend. We were set upon by Hyena men in Osiriani only we survived. We used what money we had to get here. We are trying to get home. Sadly we have to sell our friend stuff to buy passage back to Andora. Any purchase would help greatly.

Allera looks over the items. Nothing is magical but the books contain spells. How much for the books?

He answers 600 gp each

Allera thinks to herself Hmmmmm far to much for what I have left. They know the value of the items I will take that spell component pouch for 4 sp He agrees and they exchange goods.

Allera continues on her way hoping to find a deal.

Originally from Rahadoum, the streets of Absalom were at the same time familiar and strange to Kandoo. His path there was exotic; as a somewhat nomad man, the half-orc was used to see every type of city, culture and person, and create roots nowhere.

Right now, the good warrior was walking the streets with a very serene attitude. The holy symbol of Apsu was a light gray tattoo in the form of a dragon foot on his chest, but not visible right now. Yet, he could feel almost like the dragon was whispering to him.

Being a recent arriver, Kandoo was admiring the architecture, but also imagining where he would sleep, and where were the people he'd have to help. He was sure his path was driven there for a reason, and as many times before, he found out the misfortune of others was what would bring him to offer his hands and heart.

Run, run, run, run, RUN! Angry farmer be on your trail!

The tall grass lashed at a small goblin's feet as he ran as quickly as he could while holding two massive potatoes and a carrot in his lanky arms. Twenty feet to his right, the stone boundaries of Absalom flashed by. An opening in the ancient monolith of a wall was visible in the distance, but the goblin didn't know if he'd be able to make it to the opening before he ran out of steam. Goblin legs are made for speed, not long distance overland chases. Wondering how long he'd have to keep his pace up, he looked over his shoulder toward his pursuer. A man in plaid clothing was maybe seventy feet behind him, but was falling further and further behind as he grew more and more tired.

Human be persistent, Myrgar give him that.

The goblin had ended up on the island by accident. About a month back, Myrgar had visited a trade port for the first time, and was very, very curious about the things called "boats." Aside from a canoe, he'd never seen a boat before, having spent the first twelve years of his life cooped up in a townhouse and the next year in a forest. Finally, at the age of fourteen, be was getting the opportunity to relieve himself of his ignorance- but being alone and ignorant in a complicated world with a dangerous amount of curiosity brought on some unfortunate situations, including doing some hands-on investigation of a trade ship as it was departing from the harbor. Needless to say, the men on the ship weren't going to turn back to the harbor to accommodate the needs of a goblin stowaway, and simply ignored him as he fed off of the rats that infested the ship. Myrgar had quickly scrambled off of the ship when it reached the Isle of Kortos two weeks later, and had a stomach churning with the diseased remains of ten different rats.

Thus, Myrgar made his way across the Isle, picking lush vegetables from farmers' fields as he went. Only now, as he reached the outer walls of Absalom, had he been caught in the act.

The goblin, on the verge of collapsing, sped through the city's gate and immediately ran into the legs of a larger being on their own merry way.

Character interaction maybe? :D

Magic user 30/God 30

Myrgar runs straight into a finely dressed women handing a few silver pieces to a man across a small shop table. She stumbles, only being caught by one of the men around her.

Gortech sits at his table in the bar, aptly named the "Dusty Flagon" as there seemed to be more dust in his mug then alcohol. Still, he had arrived only earlier that day and a drink was one of the first things on his mind. Second was to meet up with his "contact." In reality he was the one who had spread the rumor of a massive black thing flying through the sky. Had to be dragons. Just had to be.
So here he was sitting there and waiting out the hours to pass when he heard a commotion outside. Well. Whatever it is, it beats sitting here. and Im out of ale for the road.
He then calls to the barkeep Oi! Looks like im leavin early, bring me a 6-pack fer the road an the tab. Whadya mean there aint no such thing?? There is now! Now hurry it up!
Gotrech is just a bit grumpy when he throws down 2 and a half gold pieces daylight robbery, thats what it is... takes his drinks and heads on outside to see what all the noise is.

As his boots find a firm landing on the dock, Wraxus takes a moment to gain his bearings. He had never been on a ship like that before, and his body still swayed slightly, echoing the motion of the sea. The weather had been calm during their voyage from Oppara, he wondered how it would have been if the sky had not been so pleasant. But such random thoughts mattered little now. He had someone to find...

The city had seemed large from the bow of the ship, but as he began to walk its streets the truth of its immensity only continued to grow. He had traveled a great distance from his northern home and encountered a wide variety of people along the way, yet in just a few blocks he passed the members of a hundred different nations and races. The City at the Center of the World truly was unique, and it would be easy for a man to disappear here. But Wraxus would find him... Wraxus would have his answers... Wraxus would have his vengeance.

Though at the moment, he needed a meal, and looking up, he saw a sign swinging in the wind for a lowly-looking tavern, the "Dusty Flagon". And so he approached....

Magic user 30/God 30

As Allera turns and takes a step,a small, goblin ok'd like creature, apparently in quite a hurry and dressed like a normal human would, runs right into her leg. The goblin looks quite frantic and very eager to be on his way,but Allera stops him and begins doing something. I'll leave that up to you.

This particular market she is attending is in very close proximity to the Dusty Flagon. The commotion Gortedh heard was the angry shouts of a farmer,as you walk outside, you see him pushing his way through the crowd towards a goblin and a young, bookish, lady. As Wraxus approaches he also hears these shouts and decides to investigate a little bit.

Kandoo, having asked around, heard of this 4 star inn and tavern named the Dusty Flagon. Although the bar itself was quite dusty, the beds were comfy and the bar wenches "a sight to put Sheyln herself to shame" the man you were speaking to explained. Having heard his recommendations, you decide to head towards it,only to be alarmed by cries of anger and distress coming from nearby.

Kandoo starts moving towards the Dusty Flagon. It'd certainly be a lot more than he needed for the night, but sometimes a certain place seems to be calling you, and he might be one of these times.

The humble wanderer finally hears some cries of anger and distress nearby on his way, though, and diverts his path momentarily. It could be someone in the need of help.

Getting there, he positions himself with the crowd and, with calm eyes, notice the commotion around a Goblin that apparently bumped in a Human female. Ah, the curious big cities, they never get old. He let himself smile.

Male Goblin Cleric of Zarongel 1; HP: 8/8; AC:18 T:15 FF:14; Fort: 2 Ref: 4 Will: 4

Myrgar backed up slightly, clutching his produce to his chest. Something seemed odd about this human, she didn't speak like most other humans did.

...And she seemed weirdly fascinated by his running into her.

Ah, Myrgar be sorry for his bumping into lady. Who you be? Why you speak so slowly?

As he spoke, he shifted both potatoes into his left hand and grabbed the carrot in his right. Immediately after his comment, he bit down hard on the vegetable with a loud crunch. He chewed and looked back up at the woman, slightly bored with her but not wanting to cause any more trouble than he had already.

Normally Gortech would have been an advocate for shooting the goblin on sight and dragging the carcass out of the city, but there must have been something in the ale, and Gortech was in a bemused mood.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Guess I'm not figuring out that the goblin stole crops from a farmer, as would be a logical conclusion, either that or the ale was stronger then I thought
Hmmm... That goblin must be the informant I was waiting for. Makes sense. Kinda. Yup, that must be it. What does that farmer want with my informant?
Gortech then follows, calling out to the farmer as he goes
Oi! What you what want with my informant? Hey, WAIT UP!

honestly, I was trying to figure out how to spin my monster hunter to take the side of this monster, and not the farmers side :/
I think that a botched sense Motive check and a bit of ale would do the trick :)

Male Elfmarked Bard 5 / Warlock 2 || HP: 52/52 || AC 17|| || Init:+2 || Perception: +7, darkvision

A goblin in the city... Strange, though it is alone and seems to pose no threat... This is a city for all kinds, perhaps he is a merchant. Though what if the farmer pursuing him... Putting together the pieces of the strange goblin holding produce and the angry farmer approaching, the affront is clear. Before the farmer reaches his target, Wraxus speaks.

"Master goblin, I suspect you came by your midday meal by collecting it from a nearby field, am I right? If so, you face two options, pay the owner of the land and it's bounty, or face judgment befittng your crime."

He looks up to the farmer. "have you been grieved?"

Magic user 30/God 30

As you all begin speaking, the farmer finally catches up to Myrgar. Why you little!
But the sound of two voices to his left makes him pause. As he turns to answer Wraxus and Gortech, his angry look is replaced instantly by fear. His face turns as white as an albino ghost and he is visibly shaking.

Make a perception check everyone.

Myrgar looked up at all of the humans surrounding him, and winced before patting each pocket on his body. He seemed to grow more and more panicky before grabbing a fistful of crossbow bolts and holding them out.

"Myrgar have no shiny things, but he have crossbow bolts. He hasn't eat the potatoes, either. Myrgar just get the sloshes in the stomach because rats no agree with his tummy, and he kinda been eating them for two weeks..."

He trailed off and looked back up at the farmer who had suddenly frozen up in terror.

The goblin looked up to the great crimson scaled dragon both in horror and in fascination. The fire was simply entrancing, but it wasn't often that Myrgar felt.. well, small. But standing in front of a beast capable of mass destruction, possibly of an entire city, would make anyone feel truly tiny.

Myrgar dragged himself out from under the bench, contemplating whether he should flee or aid in the battle. Seeing that his escape route had already gone up in flames, however, he immediately settled upon the latter.

It turns it's back on you all, rising a bit higher in the air as his wing flap at a slow, steady rate. You see the glow of the dragon fire rising inside of him as he unleashes another horrible blast to the opposite side of the street.

Just posting my action already, but please consider it goes in the right initiative order.

Kandoo's first priority is literally run around and try to get people off the streets. With some luck, the dwarf's bullets would call the dragon attention away from the innocent.

Everybody flee! Off the streets! - he yells, trying to help whoever he can.

Realizing the dragon has risen above his effective range with his javelin, Wraxus looks around for a nearby building with a high tower or other vantage point where he could strike at the beast from. Calling out boldly "Get the innocents to safety, below ground!" he then heads in the direction of his chosen vantage point.

Female Human Bard 3; Farmer 1; Nutcase 1

Myrgar stood as a deer in headlights would in front of the magnificent beast before nearly getting his head burned off by a tongue of the dragon's deadly flames. As his heart dropped into his chest, he attempted to regain a bit of his proud goblin vigor, opening his toothy maw and yelling out to the dragon:

"MYRGAR BE FIERY BEAST TOO!"

With that, he raised his hand toward the sky and brought it down in an arc, harnessing the very energy of the sun with his bare hand. A warmth spread through his body, filling his belly and spreading into his arms and legs. He was ready to fight fire with fire.

Myrgar casts firebelly, granting him fire resistance five for the next ten rounds. If he wishes, he can expend his remaining rounds to breathe a cone of flame.
