I was thinking honor, heroics, and light(illumination). Or any one of the three honestly. CG was my thought on him. He is much more of a good than evil, but of course, battle is chaotic.
Thinking a Dwarven Warpeiest of... The god of battle Ebech takes the form of a young man. He is very muscular and broad, and is generally portrayed as tall. His brown eyes are rarely seen behind his helmet. He carries a multitude of weapons, and is always wearing his suit of shining full plate armor, made in the forge of gods, crafted of the metal found the the Old Gods core when defeated. He often comes down to the mortal world, taking the form of a general or champion. Does that work for you? I'm using a God I created for a book, but it's your game,so any changes are of course welcome. What domains/war priest powers would be open to me with him as my deity?
Ok then. backstory:
Hear all the tale of Rejarck Thunderhammer! Rejarck, the priest and warrior. Sole defender of the forge temple of Torag during the Long War against the Ork/goblin menace! Many a time did he stand firm against the tide of green skins, yet never did they pass beyond into the temple itself. Blessed by Torag with the ability to tank majorly,he loves the weight and feel of armor and a good shield. He strides into battle wielding his Deity's favorite weapon the warhammer, and a shield, all while encased in armor. He defends his allies in battle and is great at "keeping the enemy off their asses" as the ancient saying goes.
While a competent combatant, his abilities come from Torag himself. Granting him the ability to heal himself and others, and enhance them in battle. His reason to leave to The Mwani Expanse is to spread the belief of Torag,to keep the flames of the forges roaring, and to create new ones where none exist. He has entrusted the defense of the temple to no less than 20 warriors of Torag in his place. In battle he is a stalwart defender and healer, crying litanies of Torag as he crushes his foes. appearance:
Standing at a mighty 4' 5",Rejarck is a broad shouldered dwarf. With a long brown beard,a long, well kept, war braid. His facial features, while generally not seen by his foes as they are hidden in a helmet, include dark brown eyes full of zealousness, and short, cropped brown hair which is also well kept. He's never caught without a weapon at his side, although he prefers his warhammer above all else. He also carries a large shield with which he is a master at using. He is almost always in heavy armor, and it is very hard to persuade him to get out of it. Even at formal events,he simply cleans it and polishes it,adds some ceremonial decorations or plates, and might even remove his helmet. The only time he'll take it off for is when he retires to bed,and during his morning ale(s). role in party: Rejarck serves well as the party tank. With a high AC that is constantly getting higher,he can take some serious hits. While his attacks and damage aren't equal to that of a fighter damage dealer,he simply has a tendency to outlast his opponents, taking the foes attention while his allies destroy him. As he has the ability to buff himself and others,he makes his allies stronger and more durable. He also has the ability to be a good healer, while not as great as the cleric,he has the potential to be a primary or secondary healer and a front line tank.

Good luck with that one. The GM did agree to allowing you to use a twenty point buy if I read correctly.
My updated character. background:
Robert Gallman is an ambitious young privateer. He's sailed the waters around the isles many a time, although almost always under a different flag. He works for the highest pay,has even switched allegiance in the middle of a fight, but it might have had something to do with his captain at the time. He is generally loyal, although he is still open to bargaining. While he knows the worth of others and their uses,he's not prone to making friends,as most of them end up dying anyways. He is also not found of paladins as he sees them as too uptight and zealous. After his last boarding action while serving on the ship Revenge, the young pirate was slashed viciously across his abdomen,he was taken prisoner and was sailed back to the isles. While the gracious crew spared his life, they had not with his own crew. He was deposited on the isles, with nothing but his weapons, gear, and some of his wealth. He sees the mayors call as a chance to return to action, and maybe make a little extra doing it... appearance and more story:
Robert is approximately 5' 11" he has wavy, charcoal hair, dark brown eyes, and a tan typical of sailors. Holstered on one hip is his pistol and companion,Onyx. On his other is a cutlass named Alexis,a woman he searches for today,as she is the only person he truly trusts and loves. She dissapeared one night during a storm, and never returned, although he believes her to still be alive. His hand is never far from Onyx, always ready to draw. He is 23 years old. stats:

I love the sound of the campaign. If you've got space, count me in. Do you want skills or equipment included in characters? |
