There are consolidated rules from Pathfinder Unchained I believe. I don't mind how we choose to do it though. Just let me know cost, time and DC :)

I've just realised that I forgit to tell you all that you have to note down on your inventory a platinum ring each. I bought it so I can cast Shield Other as needed and it seemed appropiate that each of us have one.
So tell me when you've done it and I'll erase it from Malcolm's backpack.
Wargrym |
Shield other? . . AWESOME! thanks Malcolm that's gonna help a lot
Putting platinum ring into inventory now

Hey guys just want to give you a heads up that I'm going out of town this weekend. My wife and I are going to go see my parents who we haven't seen since xmas. My parents are in their 60's and while my brother lives with them I still like to check in with them from time to time. Living 4 hours away sucks when they start to get older and more careless.
I will be leaving Friday at 5 PM CST and will more than likely be offline until Monday at 10 AM CST.
Malcolm Hawke |
No problem, amigo. As someone who lives two hours from college and one hour and a half from his collegw friends I understand you.
Have a nice weekend!
Ithalil |
ok I am adding the ring to my inventory. Thank you
Malcolm Hawke |
You all are welcome! Just try not to die too much ^^
Josh.Ingle |
Ring get! Awesome. Thank you, Malcolm! Hopefully, as a caster, I won't need it.
So, next turn, I'm thinking of throwing up a Blur on someone. Ithalil or Malcolm, can't decide which yet. I can cast it and have my lovely Selthanis fly over and deliver it to you with a soft fluffy paw of doom.
Malcolm Hawke |
Despite my love for rolling dices, virtual dices doesn't produce the satisfying sound that real ones do. So yeah, I'm okay with you rollinf everything you need!
DM Mathpro |
So here is how I run battles. Each of you will post your actions for the round and roll any necessary rolls. Then I will write up a round summary where I detail the success of each of your actions. Your actions will be resolved in initiative order. I am allowing you guys to have a surprise round so please go ahead and post your actions over in the main thread. If its okay with everyone I'll then roll init when I write up the surprise round summary.
Wargrym |
Works for me

Ithalil |
he put the link in one of his posts. at the beginning of the encounter
DM Mathpro |
I can also link to it in campaign info no problem :). Waiting for Zarion to post his surprise round actions and then I'll write up the summary for the surprise round and get inits up and such. Oh just a point of clarification, post do not need to be made in init order, post in what ever order and I'll order your actions in the summary.

@Mathpro I think the way you handled smite is fine.
Hey Malcolm just wanted to let you know that I added the Pack Rager barbarian archetype which gives me a bonus teamwork feat.
I've tentatively chosen Paired Opportunists. None of the teamwork feats do any good without having a partner who has the same feat.
Another potential feat would be Outflank.
A teamwork feat might be worth taking at some point as Wargrym is going to generate a LOT AOOs for Paired Opportunists and crits for Outflank.
And even though your dex is 12 and therefore only 1 AOO per round an extra attack is an extra attack.
Just pointing it out in case you have a feat slot that you're not sure what to fill it with. Totally up to you or something to keep in mind for the future.
your melee buddy
Wargrym
Malcolm Hawke |
Well, my crit fishing falchion likes what it sees! I will get both of those feats ASAP!
I even took Iron Will to fill, so if the DM allows me to swap it with a teamwork feat that would even explain that we have pack tactics... because I intend to combo with you at every chance possible!
Wargrym |
I think choosing just one of these feats may be best. For Paired Opportunists we have to be adjacent to each other. And for Outflank we can't be adjacent, we have to be flanking. So we won't be able to use both of them at the same time. It'll probably be best to choose just one and make that tactic our SOP.
Thoughts?
Just so you know where I'm planning to go with Wargrym, this is my current feat plan
11th: I still am undecided right now as to what I should take and so this is open for right now
13th: Feat=Critical Focus +4 to confirm crits and at this level I add Int +3 to crit confirmation as well
15th: Staggering Critical and Tripping Strike

For those of you who are curious here is what you are facing. Please don't mix player knowledge with character knowledge. You the player might know what type of giant he is now but your characters do not. All you know is he's rather well spoken for his kin.
Wargrym |
Yup... Too bad. Big guy like that would certainly come in handy vs a dragon

My horse, sadly, cant blink in and out of existence.
That said, what do you guys about having a homebase?
Ithalil |
Home base sounds good.
WabbitHuntr |
But it's a good way for him to make a little extra coin and when a barbarian gets drunk and wants a tattoo Zarion can give him one of a unicorn and watch all his tribesmen laugh at the Unicorn Totem Barbarian

Siobhan Sable |
Siobhan has nearly 18k available so can I invest some of that in a decent sized house?
That gives us a home base and a reason to come back. Will have to get it furnished with enchanting labs and so forth - Skyrim style!
Just tell me how much and I'll pay up! :)
Siobhan Sable |
I know... maybe we had our eyes on something before we left and now we've acquired the funds I can go ahead and buy.
Practically all I actually need is a crafting workshop where I can make jewelry, that wouldn't be too expensive. Enough beds would likely cost more.
Looking at downtime rules to build: a Vault, Storage, a Sitting Room, an Artisans workshop, a Bar, 6 bedrooms, a Book Repository (library), a garden, a kitchen and an office would cost 4230gp. Furnishing it would cost an extra 300gp/room for 4500gp.
That only totals 8730gp - add in costs for land maybe 10k? Perhaps I purchased something before we left and have a lot of building costs to settle now we've come back?
Siobhan Sable |
I'll write off 10k then and hopefully we can keep people working on it so that when we come back in book 5 it's all done? :)
No more free crafting for you guys! :P You get a house instead!
Ithalil |
I disagree as long as it is legal and no one is forced to participate. Both the lawful and good aspects are satisfied. Desna doesn't strike me as the stuffy type either.
Siobhan Sable |
Not that I frown upon this at all but just so you guys know, because I'm thinking you might not, the Pixies Kitten is a house of ill repute. They do serve drinks but there are other services that I'm sure our paladin would not be partaking in lol.
I was wondering too, but IC it made no sense for Siobhan to remind them...
Malcolm Hawke |
If I see something aberrant to the average party I will of course take action, but as a Paladin of Desna I think Malcolm would drink and celebrate -with certain moderation, he ain't no slacker- and also play his lute!
For example he doesn't mind prostitutes being that, unless they are enslaved or forced, everybody can choose their way of live if it doesn't harm others.
Wargrym |
with a name like the Pixies Kitten...how could it not be a house of ill repute. DUH! how did I not pick up on that?
Wargrym ABSOLUTELY has no problem with establishments like this as long as all the "employees" are treated well and are there of their own volition
Ithalil |
So I'm not sure if we faced the Sand Point Devil in any of the previous books. If not I was thinking it could have been an on going hunt for me. Every time I've got close he's escaped. Possibly if it is intelligent he could have lain ambushes for me where I escaped. Kind of a running feud between us.
Ithalil |
Sorry it took so long. I woke up late and had to rush to work. At work now posting with my iPhone
