Hmm, can't seem to find the Harrow info you sent me when I started... can you remind me if it was a post or a message? Might be useful now...
You mean the Harrow points system? Only the members that received a reading from Zellara have Harrow points to spend. There'll be a new reading at the start of the next book.
The current 'theme' for the Harrow points is dexterity. You can see what they can currently be used on in the Campaign Info tab. (Unused points will by the way disappear at the end of the book.)

At the end of next week I plan to open recruitment for 1 or 2 PFS games of Master of the Fallen Fortress.
If anyone's interested to play in it with another character, let me know and I'll reserve a spot.
Mavor Asku |
I'll be off tomorrow, I'll be back late in the evening. Bot me if needed, Mavor will try to flank or use Cleave as much as possible.
Denario Vasquez |
Likewise.
Denario imbues his cards with acid splash and will not go up close unless it's last resort. If he's unlucky to get hit hard, he'll cast vanish defensively.
Also, something about when drawing a card.
If it has an alignment match to N, the card crit goes from 20 to 19-20
If it matches NN, the crit multiplier goes to x3 and i get a +4 on the crit confirm roll.

I've been wondering at this for a while. The chanting takes a move action on a turn, which is only part of the turn. But that would mean I am chanting only every so often which I think is kind of weird. In my opinion Tural would be chanting all the time after he started. Making him unable to talk.
What are your opinions on this?

Meh. I'm of the opinion that you're not chanting all the time, unless your character chooses to do so. Much like how witches aren't cackling the entire time either...they cackle (much like the Wicked Witch of the West, for instance), then do other things.
If you were American, I might liken a chant to one round of the Tomahawk chop which Atlanta Braves (baseball) fans do to cheer their team.
Tural Ardas |
I had the monk chanting in mind. The chanting you mean Baer sounds way more logical to do as a shaman...
Baer Mytr |
You Magnificent Piddlespotters--
I like to pretend I know and remember things, but can you all confirm where you are from?
Quorthos...I know you're Canadian.
Tural, GMSteph, you're both Dutch?
Mavor, where are you from?
Denario? Dutch too?
Forgive me for what I do not remember. I'm American and foolish.
Grunt,
Baer

Does any of you know what 'officially' happens if you're already dazed by an effect that last several turns and you're hit by the same effect again? I can't find anything about it, but I wonder if the durations of multiple dances would stack.
I'm currently not letting the effects of the dances stack, ruling that those who are already dazed aren't affected by the new dances. I'll probably keep it that way, because ending up in an almost eternal daze isn't very fun, but I wonder if there are any rules on this.
Mavor Asku |
I'll be off or unavailable for a large portion of the day, tomorrow. Please bot me if I'm holding up the pace.
Baer Mytr |
I didn't just kill Baer, did I...?
You took her down with the first crit-hit, the second was the one that knocks her out out.
Such is not-life.
Mavor Asku |
It all depends if the creature would be swinging at Baer again if she goes down. Would a monster/NPC/animal try to outright kill someone or focus on knocking out threats?
StephNyan |
You dealt 30 dmg, so unless she's got just 8 con, she's still alive.
Baer already had 5 damage.
But:

I had it attack her a second time 'cause of Orc Ferocity keeping her up, but I forgot that only kicks in once a day. Since Baer went down after the first hit, it would've aimed its second attack at another target.
So Baer still lives! :)

+1 to still being alive. +1 to being able to continue to RP. As a dead character, it's much harder to RP and do stuff. Might have needed to multi-race into plant man or something at lvl 4, but that's been averted. ;)

I wasn't even aware of these rules, but I looked them up. Personally, I like the Fractional Base Bonuses quite a lot.
I'd like to know what the others think about making use of Fractional Base Bonuses. Would you like to see this incorporated in the game?
Tural Ardas |
I don't mind at all ^^ I think it's a good system
StephNyan |
Since everyone's posted in one of this game's threads since I asked opinions about Fractional Base Bonuses, and no one brings up any troubling issues with these rules:
We hereby use Fractional Base Bonuses! :)
I'd like all of you to double check if your character's affected by these new rules, though I don't think most of you will be. The change will benefit Quorthos greatly, and I think Mavor gets a minor boost.
Allyph Yssal |
Just checked out Allyph, and her BAB had the same increase. Woohoo!

If you want to buy a 3rd party item I'd like to take a look at it first, to make sure it's not too overpowered. Otherwise Korvosa has pretty much everything you can afford, without buying limit.

Baer, whether through silliness or indecision, is not going to buy much right now. I think she's saving for a staff that she can really use. She's happy to kick in for a wand of CLW if anyone wishes to join her.

I advice you wait with buying another healing wand, for reasons to be revealed soon.
