Sarah Charmichael |
Sarah rolls her eyes. "I'm guessing you just want to set the place on fire and try to get the case out of the ashes? How about if I scope the place out to see if there's a better strategy. It's not like they'll see me there, and we might just pull this off with just losing use of the cars instead of drawing even more attention to us." She pauses. "Maybe. I won't deny that arson might be the answer after all this."
Axel Black |
He just gives her an excited grin
"Cant wait... but sure. Ill wait patiently till you need some fire in your life" he gives her a knowing smile

What's the area like, is it a working area or quiet?
"If I can tager up, I can probably monitor Sarah going in, x-ray or thermal or some other of Swift's senses." glancing over to Axel, "If it's an open offer I may take you up on that when we're not on a mission." she smiles mischievously.
Axel Black |
He gives her smirk
"The offer stands"
An odd way to handle these situations, but Im not complaining. Will talk more once these abomanations are dealth with. So focus...

Stealth and recon? Intel before diving in?
In complete agreement with this course of action.
Will park some distance away (in a blind spot of any nearby cams, said cams id'd courtesy of our resident hacker) and then find an even more discreet spot to change and come running if called for.
Well-trained in stealth...however definitely deferring to the experts who can literally go invisible :)
*assumes we're keeping in contact via comms*

Axel in his human form is also trained in stealth, fairly well. But yes. Lets wait if they need backup

You follow the trail left to you by Riley whom you are sensing is really testing you and your symbiote's patience as you drive though abandoned construction zones and then a hairpin turn under a freeway ramp. You see the car from the breeding pit earlier in the day parked in the service bay as warehouse employees are hard at work unloading several large shipping containers. Other employees are driving forklifts, and pulling cases from shelves to stack on pallets. You see no Dhohanoids though you can sense their presence through a door entering the facility guarded by a security officer sporting some body armor and an assault rifle.
I apologize for the delay. Working two 15's really took a toll on me. Thank you for your patience.
Axel Black |
Axel is the backup. He doesnt like it. But its better choice. His Tager form is not the best at being stealthy

Haywood Estevez - "Haze" |
Haywood stows his computer, discreetly loosens his gun in its hidden holster and cracks his neck. Seeing the guards he smiles and begins to hack into local government networks to find schematics and plans for the security system and building.

If humans armed with lethal weapons, respond in kind.
I don't know if silencers are available but prefer to use one if so.

If forced in melee, use Fighting skill (ESU) with 2 action cascade.
4d10 ⇒ (4, 9, 7, 5) = 25+8(Agility)-0(cascade knife hand)->17
base damage+0
4d10 ⇒ (2, 6, 1, 4) = 13+8(Agility)-2(cascade front kick)->12
base damage+0
Fighting skill used to avoid most attacks.
4d10 ⇒ (7, 1, 5, 6) = 19+8(Agility)-4(2 action penalty)->22
Fighting skill used to avoid most attacks.
4d10 ⇒ (6, 8, 1, 2) = 17+8(Agility)-4(2 action penalty)->14
If Dohanoids are present, then Tager form.
Start with ranged strikes.
4d10 ⇒ (4, 2, 2, 4) = 12+8(Perception)-4(2 action penalty)->12
4d10 ⇒ (7, 1, 2, 8) = 18+8(Perception)-4(2 action penalty)->12

Then melee (using ESU)

4d10 ⇒ (7, 1, 8, 4) = 20+10(Agility)-4(2 action penalty)->14
Lastly, if Dodge needed
Human form(-4 if taking 2 actions):
3d10 ⇒ (3, 1, 3) = 7+8(Agility)->14
3d10 ⇒ (4, 9, 1) = 14+8(Agility)->17
Tager Form(assuming taking 2 actions)

3d10 ⇒ (8, 5, 3) = 16+10(Agility)-4(2 actions)->14
Armor rolls (same in either form)

2d10 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7
2d10 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7
2d10 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8
Wow...3 and 4 dice skills...and taking 7 would have been better in most cases. Below average everywhere...even armor checks. At least no critical failures.

"Personally I'm fond of a more surgical extraction of the item." Any chance we can get in, get the item, and out without them noticing?
"We can have the best shooters possibly covering above via windows. If this is a warehouse, I'm sure there are a few vantage points via outside we can take...this will also work if we need to send in a team of heavies to breach the door."

"Its a fire. At a warehouse. It happens." he grins

"I'm sure they're faaar too professional, and on alert to boot, but I could try and distract the doorman, at least enough for Sarah to crack the door and slip inside?" Eloise pauses a moment, "And if it all goes wrong, then you come rescue and we let the momentum carry us through."
Martin Drumond Kingsbridge |
*likes the stealth B&E approach* Less collateral damage, less things to conceal, less awkward questions to answer.
Between someone who can literally walk through walls and another who can go invisible...I'd say we have a decent chance. At least worth a try?

Making sure she's out of sight, Eloise shudders as the Symbiote envelops her and she revels in the sensations as she becomes stronger, faster and more aware of everything.
"See you upstairs" Whisper takes flight and lands gently up on the Warehouse roof.
Haywood Estevez - "Haze" |
Haywood stows his PCPU with a sigh. "Patience is clearly a virtue we are lacking in." He climbs out of the car and looks up at the fire escape. He sighs, realizing his life of crime involves much more desk and much less climbing.
Closing his eyes, he murmurs into the darkness inside him. And the darkness answers. His body ripples as blackish-blue skin covers him and his form becomes hunched, predatory. A strange chittering erupts deeply from his chest, a horrible mockery of a kitten's purr. Crouching, the tager springs to the fire escape and up onto the roof, his claws making light tapping sounds on the roof.
DaWay |
For those of you on the roof peering down into the skylight you can see a total of eight Dhohanoids (four Dua-Sanari, two Vrykols, an Elib and a Gelgore) joining another group of four (one Elib and three Vrykol). You see the small metal case amongst the detritus.
Those senses of yours are kicking in detecting even more Dhohanoids. Surely this has to be a Chrysalis Corporation warehouse. They move into site and you see a Zabuth, a Gelgore, and eight Dua-Sanari's.
As if the sheer number isn't enough they look up into your eyes.
Initiative please. For those of you counting, this is your group versus 22 Dhohanoids.

"That's a lot of dhohanoids... Step back" he whispers to Leshawanna with a smirk, as they watch the group at top

If Eloise goes first with that init, she'll take 3 actions, first up she'll drop a gossamer bomb through the skylight, trying to catch as many of them as possible (15ft radius, affected must make Challenging Tenacity Feat test or lose next two actions (minimum 0))
Martin Drumond Kingsbridge |
Cheerfully: Heh...another day at the office.
*Delays until after Eloise*
Over comms: I'm going to focus on any tangos that are:
1) not affected by gossamer debuff
2) have not gone yet, especially if they are known to have area of effect powers.
3) fliers/ranged attackers.
Will take two actions. (Firing with ranged attack). Already made rolls, made a math mistake. I took a -4 penalty instead of -2 so add 2 to all ranged attack/defense results. Did not make any modifications for higher ground or firing from cover.

My combat rolls were all here:
http://paizo.com/campaigns/CthulhutechOrganizedPlay/gameplay&page=2#66
I did take a -4 instead of a -2 so added 2 to all the combat rolls.
Tried quoting but spoiler tags don't copy over.
Summarize:
Ranged Arcane Blast (taking 2 shots)
14, base damage+3-> 3d10 ⇒ (4, 6, 7) = 17
14, base damage+3-> 3d10 ⇒ (1, 7, 1) = 9
Dodge checks (if needed)
12
16
Fighting checks (if needed)
Atk: 18, 18
base damage+3(blades+2, str+1)
3d10 ⇒ (4, 2, 4) = 10
3d10 ⇒ (8, 8, 3) = 19
Def: 20, 16
Armor
12
7
7
8
Now that the combat venue has been set I'll also throw in a few more rolls for ranged attacks.
4d10 ⇒ (10, 4, 2, 9) = 25+Perception(8)-multiple action (-2)->16
4d10 ⇒ (5, 3, 1, 2) = 11+Perception(8)-multiple action (-2)->12
base damage+3
3d10 ⇒ (7, 9, 3) = 19
3d10 ⇒ (6, 7, 5) = 18
4d10 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 5) = 20+Perception(8)-multiple action (-2)->18
4d10 ⇒ (4, 10, 2, 6) = 22+Perception(8)-multiple action (-2)->16
base damage+3
3d10 ⇒ (7, 9, 6) = 22
3d10 ⇒ (5, 6, 7) = 18
And yes my dice rolls suck.
