Just checking to see who would be interested in playing a Greyhawk game using PFRPG 1e, set in Greyhawk. I haven't decided on the time period yet. But, I'm figuring on using the D&D Pantheon as recounted in Deities and Demigods (3e). This is to keep things simple for you the players.
The possible time periods will be:
576 C.Y.: This means you will need the Greyhawk Campaign gold box available on Drivethru. This is before the Greyhawk Wars and Greyhawk: From the Ashes.
591 C.Y.: This is the time period of Greyhawk: the Adventure Begins (also available on Drivethru), the Greyhawk Player's Guide, D&D Gazetteer, and the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer. I've converted the D&D (3e) Pantheon to Pathfinder and I have a .pdf available for it. All four books are available on Drivethru.
I want to set the campaign in the City of Greyhawk. I think we will have a lot of fun just playing around in Greyhawk City, the Star Cairns, and other places around Greyhawk. I'm still deciding on the magic system.
This isn't recruitment, just checking to see who is interested right now. Note, I'm already doing the Slavers Saga with another group and have no interest in doing it for a second group.

I'd sign up. Likely as a Magic-User, though I too would welcome a standard magic system. Not a deal breaker, but just figure I'd toss that in.
As for storylines, and I kmow you didn't ask, but as above, just tossing this out: How far away is Hommlet? I know that Temple of Elemental Evil isn't Greyhawk, but that whole region is ripe for adventuring.
Actually, the whole Flanaess is ripe for adventuring. :)
I know two of you like Vancian casting. I have the adventure the Temple of Elemental Evil in pdf. I think I haven't downloaded it yet. But there are more areas worth adventuring in. Including the City of Greyhawk itself.
Agree, the City of Greyhawk has great potential. You could go in a couple different directions with it. ToEE is cool too, I played it back in the 80’s but don’t remember much except that it was fun.
I'd be up for anything in the Flanaess, honestly. It's where I started out in D&D. ToEE was just a suggestion. Castle Greyhawk, or City of...could be a blast.
I'm in a City campaign now, possibly the best campaign I've ever been in. Greyhawk is amazing. I did love Hommlett back in the day; a lot has been lost since then.
I would like to join, in memory of my past youth. ^^
I'd be up for giving Van here another shot to explore the World of Greyhawk and especially the City of Greyhawk.
