Interest -- Science Fiction?

Recruitment

Who's up for a straight Science Fiction game? It will not be Space Opera. It will not be colonizing other planets. But set during the prehistoric past.

In the time before Noah's Flood, there existed a civilization that surpassed ours. They could tap into the Aether to generate energy. They had computers, jets, and automobiles. They had accurate maps of the globe (as evident of the Piri Reis map). They had pyramids and crystals to tap into the Aetheric Resonance.

It's a time when Saturn, Venus, and Mars could be seen in close congregation to each other on our Celestial North Pole. It's a setting I've been researching for forty years now. Ignatius Donnally wrote about it, Madam Blatsky had weird ideas about it.

I'm an Atlanteologist. The Setting is: ATLANTIS.

This will be a science fiction game, using Big Eyes Small Mouth (BESM) d20 for the base -- since Pathfinder can't do science fiction, and Starfinder is more Space Opera than anything.

So, Atlantis is calling for a few brave souls to visit. Do you heed the call?

I made Akila for a LANCER game even had art made of the character as you can see

She would fit in with either a mech pilot or Tech genius

Awesome.

Here is more information pertaining to the game.

SPECIES:
Since this is a science fiction game, we will use the word species instead of race. Species are grouped into two categories: both Earth native. Natural species and Gene-engineered species. I wonder if the paleo-anthropologists are going to hate me. Oh there are more anthro-species native of Earth, and don't forget the ones from the stars. To keep things simple, the available races for this game are below:

Earth Native Species: Man (Homo Sapiens Adamis) -- the descendants of Adam and Eve. Who were the creation of the Elohim.

Human I (Homo Sapiens Magnon) -- the descendants of the first Cro-Magnons, who were the result of cross-breeding of different apes by the Elohim.

Human II (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) -- the most plentiful of men, the result of Man and Human I matings.

GAME ASPECTS: All three humans are indistinguishable in game mechanics to the human race featured in BESM d20, Pathfinder, and D&D 3e.

Gene-Engineered Species: Cats (Homo Sapiens Felinus) -- the result of Atlantean genetic engineering, creating a human/Cat crossbreed. (Inspired by the Blue Planet Roleplaying Game.)

Silva (Homo Erectus) -- the result of Atlantean genetic engineering, creating a human/ape hybrid. The result of experiments to produce a new human from ape stock by blending human genes with ape genes. (Inspired by the Blue Planet Roleplaying Game and those texts on human evolution I read about many years ago while I was in Grade School.) Yeah, I know, some Paleo-Anthropologists are going to hate me for this.

Human Superior (Homo Sapiens Superior) -- Atlantean genetic engineering has attempted to produce a human that is superior to regular humans (mostly Human II). (Inspired by the Blue Planet Roleplaying Game.)

Wolfen (Homo Sapiens Lupus) -- Atlantean genetic engineering has produced a blend of human and wolf. (Not inspired by Blue Planet.)

Even more information pertaining to Atlantean Mecha in the game. These are rough ideas to help those submitting mecha pilots (or ninja) for their own characters and designs. All Atlantean mecha is powered by the Aether and not by fossil fuels. No design elements are made, so Paizo can't claim copyright.

Power Armor
* Invisibility Suit: Designed for Ninja (Ninja class), the invisibility suit confers invisibility per the spell in Pathfinder 1e, except violence doesn't end the invisibility. The invisibility is powered by a thought. The suit requires the user to be naked (form fitting suit).

* Battle Cycle Armor: Designed for the elite of Atlantean soldiers (Mecha Pilot class), the Battle Cycle Armor is inspired by Robotech. The Battle Cycle has two forms: motorcycle and power armor. The Cycle armor integrates with the rider's suit to form a powerful armored suit. Designed for men, the battle armor fires missiles at their targets. Atlantean warriors also rely on energy weapons if they have no missiles. Cycle armor is designed to be durable and to ride indefinitely. Changing into the suit (form fitting) and putting on the armor requires the rider to be naked.

* Light Cycle Armor: Designed for female Atlantean soldiers, the Light Cycle armor is also inspired by Robotech. Lighter in design, the Light Cycle armor is used for reconnaissance and scouting missions. The mecha has two forms: motorcyle and power armor. Changing into the armor suit for integration requires nudity or near nudity (form fitting suit).

* X-31 Power Suit: the first Atlantean mecha designed and produced. Not designed for durability, this mecha suit is a hanger queen. It improves physical strength of the wearer. This suit does not require the wearer to be naked.

* ArmorMan: Inspired by the Iron Man comic by Marvel Comics, this suit is designed to fly and project energy blasts from palms and center chest. Hangar queen, this suit needs to be carefully maintained.

Giant Robots
* X-301 Defender: The first Atlantean Giant Robot to be produced, this robot resembles a Gundam. The X-301 was deployed to provide heavy combat to the Atlantean troops. Sort of like a walking battle tank, further designs are more organic in form. A hanger queen. Inspired by Gundam and Full Metal Panic.

* R-501 Harmonic Resonance: This Atlantean giant robot can generate an energy shield to shield troops from enemy fire. The shield gives a +2 circumstance bonus to AC. Another hanger queen.

* Heavy Tank Walker: Also inspired by Robotech, this piece of mecha is a walking arms battery. Able to fire a volley of missiles and has bore guns attached to it's arms, the robot is impressive and provides heavy artillery support for the army.

Vehicles
* Atlantean Frigate: A ship built from the strongest materials, the boat is as big as a Trireme, and carries a cannon capable of throwing fire. Inspired by the Zeus and Poseidon city building video game.

* Variable Fighter: Inspired by Macross, Rifts Atlantis, and Robotech, the Variable Fighter is an Atlantean Design that is capable of transformation from a jet fighter to a giant robot. It has a hybrid form as well. A hangar queen.

* Atlantean Hover Tank: A tank capable of anti-gravity hovering, the mecha has a main gun that is comparable to the Abrams tank. It's also a hangar queen.

Heavy mecha.

I'm a sucker for the "MadCat"

Nice. I'll let you design your own mecha.

Awesome. 400 points.

I'll get something together during the day
