What would I have to do to continue putting out Pathfinder 1st Edition content?

As we all should know by now, on Jan 27th 2023, Hasbro put out a press release saying they would no longer seek to de-authorize the OGL 1.0a. https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/1439-ogl-1-0a-creative-commons

Despite that, Paizo and some others decided to move away from Hasbro/WotC copyrighted material and are in the process of de-D&Ding their games which is why we're getting "Re-Mastered" versions of Pathfinder 2nd Edition books. Apparently, they don't want to take the risk that Hasbro winds up changing its mind (again) and will attempt to de-authorize the OGL 1.0a a second time. If that was successful, Paizo could be up the creek without a paddle, especially if Hasbro decided in a new license that 50% of Paizo's profits would have to go to Hasbro as the OGL 1.1 tried to do.

First, let's assume I'm willing to take a risk and bet that the OGL 1.0a will actually stay in effect.

Second, would I have to get Paizo's permission to continue writing Pathfinder 1st Edition material and selling it?

I am unclear if companies like Green Ronin and Dreamscarred Press entered into any special publication agreements with Paizo or not. If they didn't, I'm guessing the OGL 1.0a had a direct bearing on that.

If they did enter into some sort of agreement to use Paizo's IP (Golarion, their deities, etc.), would Paizo be willing to grant a license to them (or others, including me) to keep on writing stuff for 1st Edition?

I imagine there might some limits on writing about events after what happened in the Tyrant's Grasp AP, but, with a couple of exceptions, I'm not all that interested in writing stories about areas where Paizo still has interest in covering in the future.

I'm more interested in writing things similar to Demons Revisited. Paizo failed to write things like "Devils Revisited" and "Angels Revisited." I want to know what a Half-Pit Fiend and a Half-Solar would look like and I'm guessing at least some of you would as well.

To be honest, I would like to write about what New Thassilon might be like, and the rivalry between Sorshen and Belimarius after Return of the Runelords would also be super interesting. I'm guessing to get Paizo's blessing on those kinds of projects, they would have to specifically ask someone (me) to do that, though. What happens in Sarkoris after Wrath of the Righteous is also something I've had a lot of thoughts about.

Anyway, anyone have any ideas on what I need to do to continue to write stuff for Pathfinder 1st Edition that I can publish and sell?

Thanks for your consideration.

Here is the forum you want to ask your questions in.

Commercial publication of PF1 falls under Paizo's Compatibility License.

The far easier way to do it is using the Pathfinder Infinite community content creation site. Complying with the terms of use is a lot easier than the Compatibility License, and you get to use the Golarion setting for your products. The difference is that Paizo takes a cut of the sales of Infinite products.

Thank you for the suggestions.
