Pathfinder class

At some point I was positive that there was a class named Pathfinder, but I can no longer find a reference to it. Was this for a different system like 3.5 or maybe a third party class, or am I just experiencing a Mandela Effect?

There are several Prestige Classes with "Pathfinder" as part of their name... Pathfinder Savant, Pathfinder Field Agent, Pathfinder Delver. Pathfinder Chronicler is a prestige class from the Core Rulebook.
