I take it sonic is not out of the question. If it takes an actual accusation and converts it into actual damage, either live or recorded, that would be cool.

I think trading out or adding sonic for higher level versions is fine, and I like the flavor a lot. Just remember it's a rarer damage type and play accordingly.
