Cotton candy (RIP) Mostly what I see at carnivals is pre-packaged bags, not the glorious sticky threads spun around a cardboard spindle.

Hawai'ian shave ice, like snow cones, but better, somehow

Elephant ears. I don't think I see those much any more.

Never really got excited by the "deep-fried X" competition. Mars bars was about as far as I went.

Back when I watched TV I loved watching Carnival Eats.

Dancing Bacons used to do a lot of vids on street vendor food before you know what happened, need to start looking around for more.

Watching the videos of the Korean corn dogs was a bad, bad idea, because now I want Korean corn dogs...lol

Even though I'm from the south, the deep fried everything bug never got me. I haven't been to a county or state fair or any other such event in a very, very long time, but I used to be a funnel cake truck's worst nightmare. Oh, and huge, chewy, and salty pretzels with cheese all over 'em!
