Does an insectoid player race exist?

the character race info lack enough description but the Bestiary( 6 pg. 285) say :

"This insectile biped has a tapir-like snout and is unmistakably alien in appearance, despite its vaguely humanoid shape."

Off the top of my head: Thri-kreen, Emerondians, dromites, insectare, elven bionoids and elven spirit warriors if you want to push the boundaries of the category, xixchil, rastipedes, isoperterites.

Driders, chitines, manscorpions, aranea and those spiderfolk from the Mwangi expanse. These are arachnoids rather than insectoid, but some people make no distinction.

That's without getting into games beyond D&D.

I don't know PF1 races off the top of my head, but there are a few in Starfinder for sure.

In PF2 we have Anadi (spider people). Fleshwarps could probably count as an option. Goloma are somewhat insectoid.

Trox are roughly insectoid… very very big insectoids… though I can see an argument to call them Arachnids even… 6 arms, mandables, hard carapace shells…

You can make an insect flavored skin walker. Lashunta, Trox, and Drivers can all be argued in a bug direction. There are several good 3pp options, but I'm not sure what's fair play in your games.

Don't forget the Annelidmorphs from Wayfinder#16 magazine! Next to the Dromites they are some of my favorites. There's also the Entobians(might be third party). At a certain level they transform into a specialized form. Plus, you got the Verminoid template on Pfd20srd which can turn almost any bug into a Monstrous Humanoid.
