I know Iron Gods is pretty infamously a meatgrinder, but you'd need someone with more knowhow than me for specific fights.
Just in the first volume:
Spoiler:
Hetuath can be quite nasty: he can put out a lot of damage quickly, and has DR/magic at a level you're not going to have a magic weapon.

Then there's the collector robots and the gearsmen, both with hardness 10 long before the party is likely to be able to afford adamantine weapons. If you're GMing it, strongly consider using the Bestiary 5 gearsman instead which has only hardness 5. Unfortunately, collector robots never got such errata.

Spoiler for Night of the Grey Death and AoE: Attack on Hunting Lodge Seven:
Any time the Lesser Deaths pop up I make a mental note to give my players an extra hero point and also a pep talk. The aura OR their reaction is killer for most of my players, not to mention it's permahasted. Try to Recall Knowledge on it to pinpoint a weakness? Good luck. Want to hit it? Good luck. Want to outrun it? Good luck! The Lesser Death fight and the Worm That Walks cultist fight being in the same book meant the adventure got REALLY deadly there for a while.
