I'm recruiting PFS characters of 33 to 35.5 exp for the seeker arc option for Wardens of the Reborn Forge. Please note that you do not want to have any held chronicle sheets or GM credits go on this same character, or you will be unable to receive some of the rewards.
This is a long module and hopefully the highlight of a character's PFS career, so I will be choosing characters. I plan to leave recruitment open until I have 10 applicants or for one week, whichever comes first. I will announce participants within two days of closing recruitment, and we will start soon afterwards. (one spot is reserved)
Please only apply if you can commit to one post a day, one post a weekend, for a long game; it is possible a module this long may take the better part of a year.

Ranalus is my -1, a Feysworn of Count Ranalc of the Eldest. A generalist, he is versatile and durable, with a range of ways to contribute in any given scenario. His Perception is excellent, and he has some good defensive abilities (especially now that he has constant DR 10/Cold Iron).
He is more of a problem-solver than a combatant. The Bestow Insight spell plus his eclectic assortment of skills can let him help out on a crucial skill check. Shadow Conjuration as a domain spell offers good utility, and Feysworn abilities plus Count Ranalc's boons offer some interesting options.
And, he casts as a Clr11, which is pretty useful.
He is exactly at 33 XP.
You can take a look at some of his prior scenarios if you wish; I am a reliable and prompt poster, and make an effort to add some RP. He sort of gently trolls the "sunshine types" by proclaiming how he will use the power of Darkness to heal the party, but he actually has a soft spot for paladins (including those of Sarenrae) and does in fact admire them. He really hates Asmodeus.

I would love to play this with my rogue. Trade Prince Slash is a half orc brutish green skinned tusky strength based rogue from Qadira who is snarky and in-your-face. A proud merchant and member of the exchange, Slash is master of his own caravan which brings him many riches as well as many rumors, some of which are worth more than gold. A vanity he has allows slight of hand as a day job and while he would never take from those in need he has a habit of liberating extra wealth he find laying about.
It's an absolute surety that he does not know his place. He has been told so many times. He is polite and generous to those who might be down on their luck or need a hand up but can be rude to those who believe themselves his better. This has and will cause issues.
Mechanically he has the Scout archtype and spring attacks with Spring Heeled Style, sneak attacking with a great axe. He has high stealth, reasonable HP and and AC for a rogue and is a survivor. His only death was when he stood his ground against a channeling evil cleric (He should have run but he is good and had to defend the party).
Slash is one of my all time favorite characters and I have slow tracked him his last few levels. I usually manage to play him in an entertaining way while working towards the mission and always supporting the party. I believe most, if not all of his XP has come from face-to-face games (so will have to create/update my alias) but I have played in quite a few of PVP games, both PFS and other.
I am an experienced player from year zero and have run my share of games. I even ran gaming at an entire con for a a few years. I have run at Gen Con enought games for a free room more than once and hope to again though my personal opinion of 2.0 is not fully formed. I am a regular daily poster and weekends are usually easy for me as well. I do a bit of traveling but carry my laptop on the road and sometimes have more time when traveling than when at home. My longest running game is a Carrion Crown game that has been going on for more than 10 years. PLease take a look if you are interested. I play Tolvan.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Slash has been shelved for too long. I'd be happy to take him down and read through all his accomplishments to brag about him if you want to hear more.

Giovanni is at 34, IIRC, but I haven't applied that last cert, because I didn't think I would get a chance for it to matter.
He's been around for a long, long time. I would bring him out for tables that seemed ready to deal with his unorthodox combat style, which seem to have been pretty rare. He is a fighter built to prevent damage, not deal it. He can trip, disarm, and/or reposition nearly anything those actions make sense against. He LOVES grabbing flyers and forcing them to the ground with reposition. Enlarge him for reach, and the games just get better, but he plans to work at human size.
He was originally an enforcer for the Scarzani faction, and got converted based on his faction number at some point, and played a couple of games before I noticed, so . . ..
His task is to keep the mission specialists alive so that they can do their job. Even if it kills him. Again.
Probably my favorite moment with Giovanni was the end of The Lion's Justice. He won initiative. Being a straight Fighter, he had plenty of movement (despite being in Full Plate) to walk over to the big baddie on his mount preparing to charge the party, and simply Repositioned him off the mount and back between Giovanni and the party. No mounted charging ride-by attacks on the party, so no noticeable damage. Sure, the lion did some damage to Giovanni, but it wasn't that bad . . ..
The significant rule applying to Giovanni's build that I always have trouble remembering is that the Quicken Reposition changes the action type only during my turn, so Reposition isn't available as an AoO.
As a straight human fighter with a negative Wisdom, his Will save is a weak point, of course. Nobody's perfect. His trained skills are Climb, Handle Animal, Intimidate, and Swim. Thug enforcer, not lookout.
Edit: Found the cert from May of 21. Not much there which should affect this, I don't think. "Unleashing the Untouchable." Might throw some cash at an enlarge wand and some happy stick(s), but used most of my cash on cert 33. <shrug>
Double Edit: Ooh! Need to check the rules on available bonuses . . .. He "earned" just over 16K on that cert (Yes, Wealth option for those that know), and the difference between a +3 and a +4 weapon is (32K+-18K+=14K) +1 to his attack and damage, but net +3 to his CMB/CMD while using the primary chain just makes him potentially that much more impactful.
Triple Edit: Only requires Fame of 45? EASLY DONE. Cool. Guess I have cause to apply that cert, now, don't I?

Bauble is a dex based Bladebound Magus. Because of the plethora of elemental resistant or immune opponents at this level he can be useless or effective as his damage output is pretty small (1d6+12) without the spells. Not too many surprises from this character. You would need some kind of damage dealer besides Bauble for some fights.
Some skills, but nothing really great. His best skill is spellcraft so that can be useful. Other good skills are escape artist, fly, and stealth which do not come into play a lot.
Personality-wise he is a human (with an unknown quantity of actual goblin blood in him) that was brought up by goblins and shows it. Expect him to burn things, yell a lot, fly around, and get into mischief.
I keep a Excel spreadsheet here that keeps my XP, fame, prestige, and equipment math accurate. Which reminds me. He has 34 XP.

Roland is exactly 12th ranger-archer and would be interested if a spot is available
His career started in revenge but eventually turned to the Pathfinder Society where his skills at tracking were put to good use.
Roland was born the youngest child of a farmer in Sandpoint. His parents were killed in a raid by goblins and he was raised by his uncle who was a fletcher by trade. Roland loved to work with bows and arrows and often went into the woods around Sandpoint to hunt.
He helped the local militia with a problem with ghouls and once his uncle passed away, he decided to head to Magnimar and joined the Pathfinder Society under Venture Captain Heidmarch. He has only undertaken a few missions since joining the Society.
Roland is rather stoic by nature, not having spent much time in large cities. He is keenly aware that his common language needs work as he speaks with a heavy Varisian accent.

Hello everyone, I am extremely interested in this game and I really want to blow the dust off Arush Al-Fasi, my favorite paladin.
Arush is an extremely unusual paladin. Firstly, she is very smart (heh) and has a lot of knowledges and skills. Secondly, she prays and serves Erecura, the queen of Dis, the second circle of Hell.
Erecura is a unique deity. She was a mortal messenger of Pharasma, who stole the secret of gaining divinity from her goddess and was exiled to Hell for it. Unlike many others, not only did she not become evil there, but she was also able to create blooming gardens in the Iron City, which became the only safe place in Dis. But most importantly, she was able to create love by engendering this feeling in the heart of the archdevil Dispater himself.
Arush is the tiefling paladin of Erecura, with whose teachings she feels an inner kinship. The fact that even in Hell love and tranquility are possible for Arush served as a source of inspiration not only not to follow the path of her fiendish blood, but also to become better and more righteous every day.
What's a paladin without a codex, right? I created one for the Erecura paladins (or Arush created it because she is unique for her kind):
- Even in Hell love is possible and Queen of Dis is our example. [To make any decisions only with love in the heart]
- In nature lies a special beauty and power, without which the soul dies. [To respect wildlife and those who choose to live in it]
- Corruption in the courts is the greatest corruption of civilization. [To root out corruption at the top of society with special attention]
- By foreseeing the future, the terrible catastrophes can be can avoided. [To protect prophets and those who divine fate]
- Lying about the future is sacrilege towards the very nature of the universe. [To root out and hunt down false prophets]
- Knowing the future is not a privilege, it should be available to everyone. [To spread knowledge, especially reliable predictions]
- Fate needs time to come true. Dying today, it is impossible to do good tomorrow. [To act smart in battle and calculate the steps ahead]
One of the greatest successes while playing for Arush was the fact that at 11 level she actually traveled Dis and even visited those very gardens. Now I think Arush needs to move on. With all the crises that have befallen the Pathfinder Society, they need a holly warrior among the venture captains with paladin principles, good intelligence and flexibility of thinking .)
Speaking of mechanics, Arush is a ranged paladin. She has collected a lot of unique items, having been in terrible places like Bonekeep, so her armor of living steel or starknife from inubrix (a metal that makes any other metal part in front of him) is a common thing. In battle, her main weapon is a bow, and in non-combat - attentiveness, diplomacy and education.
I will be very glad if you choose me. I've been waiting for the opportunity to play this module for a years, and I didn't specifically attach any GM chronicles to Arush, so she is now exactly in 33 XP.
I wish good luck to all those gathered. I was happy to read the descriptions of your characters. The Seekers are something special! ;)

TriShadow here. This character just completed Eyes of the Ten.
Fendel was designed to be able to be more of a skill silver-back gorilla than a skill monkey. When I started PFS (in Season 6), I realized that I could not optimize for combat better than most of the veterans at the table. However, out of combat was a struggle. Thus, Fendel had a purpose. He is only my -2 character because I accidentally deleted my -1 number on the boards (since recovered).
This is not to say he doesn't contribute to a fight. With Bane and Studied Target he does fine. But his strength is just about everywhere else. With constant See Invisible and a ludicrous Perception, he see it, identifies it, and tell you how to kill it.

“You know what this party needs?” The air ripples and warps from the heat around a lithe man leaning against the doorway. Light washes up and down the multitude of intricate tattoos decorating his exposed chest and arms as if they were windows to coals in a smith’s furnace. “Some firepower.” He smirks and snaps his fingers, releasing a small burst of flames.
“And don’t worry, my credentials speak for themselves. The Runelord of Sloth? More like the Runelord of greasy smoke. The Untouchable Opal? Touched and broken. And I don’t suppose any of you have heard of a little event across the pond called the Ruby Phoenix Tournament? Been there, won that.”
Fire sorcerer here, specializing in fireball and occasionally other spells to keep his fellow agents operating at full steam. Comes with a cranky fire mephit familiar names Neisti.

I'd like to submit Dravik Seldon, a human Fighter 10 / Bard 2. He's a full plate / greatsword fighter that can mimic an archer in a pinch. The bard splash is mostly used for skills & saving throws. He's at 33 xp.
Dravik is the captain of the Wind Song and most recently aided in the Society's victory in the Ruby Phoenix tournament.
---
My other option is Valeria Nelael, a Cleric of Shelyn 12, also at 33 xp.

A tiefling in leather armor raises her hand excitedly. "Oh oh. Pick me, pick me. I haven't had a mission for the Pathfinder Society in almost 3 years now. My special skills are making friends, being nice and beating up bad guys." She pauses for a moment. "Oh and I can raise the dead too. If they haven't been dead too long anyway.
"I've never been to Alkenstar. I bet there are lots of nice people there to make friends with. It's gotten a bit boring here in Absalom. Every day it's the same thing. I get up and meditate. Not too long though, I don't want to turn into stone. Then I do some katas and exercises before I go downstairs and help Mrs. Mullinax with the chores. I like milking the goat the best. Bessy is always glad to see me for her morning milking. Then it's off to the temples to either train with the other paladins at Iomedae's temple or look at the paintings and sculptures and listen to music at Sheyln's temple. I'm not allowed in Abadar's temple anymore since I keep healing diseases for free."
Realizing she's rambling a bit she settles down. "Anyway I hope you choose me I'm overdue for adventure."

Although I'm reasonably experienced with PbP I've only played Yasmin in face to face games. As a result I don't currently have a full profile for her online so I'll just give a quick summary. At 33 xp she is a level 11 Iroran Paladin/1st level Sohei Monk. Essentially the monk level allows her to flurry of blows and the sohei archetype allows her to do this while still wearing light armor. She is very hesitant to kill and uses nonlethal blows whenever possible. I've gone all in on Lay on Hands so she can use it 17 times per day or use 10 charges to raise the dead. As an iroran paladin she loses smite evil but can instead use a lesser but similar ability on any opponent. She's not particularly smart so she has few skills but she is particularly skilled at diplomacy. The highlights of her career thus far include winning the Ruby Phoenix tournament and visiting the plane of Axis to actually meet the Ruby Phoenix. She is disappointed that she did not get to meet Irori or Chem Chem while on Axis but she is certain that she saw The Old Man ride a turtle over a hill. She spend far too much money on souvenirs while she was there and now has a large stockpile of confections she calls 'lawful taffy.'

I posted during lunchtime and ran out of time to include Yasmin's code. As an Iroran paladin she is able to write her own code. Hers is written and illustrated by her own hand and bound into her illustrated children's copy of Unbinding the Fetters. Each page of this book seems to have been transcribed and illustrated by a different scribe and in many cases the theology has been simplified.
Yasmins code
1. Be nise
2. Help peepul
3. Seek perfecshun
4. Learn from masters
5. Dont eat meet
The penmanship is atrocious and about the level of a kindergarten student with several of the letters either in the wrong case or backwards. It includes a childish watercolor self portrait of a smiling Yasmin standing next to something that might generously be called a cat. The illustration is also reminiscent of the work of a kindergarten student. If asked, she will gladly explain all of the rules, taking particular care to mention that eating meat is mean to the animals.

Tossing my hat into the ring. Level 12 vanilla cleric I started around 2013. Lots of GM credit on this guy. Notable final adventures during his career have been the Rats of Round Mountain scenarios and a few of the Cult of Lissala/Runelords scenarios I GM'd as a mini-campaign at my Lodge.
He also survived The Gauntlet! scenario.
I was wondering what you mean by, "Please note that you do not want to have any held chronicle sheets or GM credits go on this same character."
Most of his credits are from GMing, but none of them are held/in waiting.
