More high level APs

I'm a first time GM and the group is about to begin Signal of Screams after which we'll transition to Devastation Arc. I like having a prewritten foundation to help ground the story plus it has the added benefit of keeping our notoriously scatterbrained group on track. I've quickly looked through Devastation Arc and it seems like it'd be interesting for the group but another option for the final AP would be nice. I'm hoping there is another high level AP in the works for Starfinder and I can't imagine I'm the only one thinking this way.

I'm not a fan of low-level d20, so higher level content can be appreciated.

i suspect that DRIFT CRISIS will have separate APs, so we'll get another one high-level AP in the back half of 2023.

Hoping it is a 6 parter rather than just a 3 parter, even IF it goes for higher levels myself. As a 6 parter will have more page count room to flesh this new event out even more, compared to a 2nd 3 parter.

Find out at Paizocon I bet either way.

i suspect we'll have the already announced 3 parter, and then 2 add'l 3 parters afterwards for 2023.

Unless they return to an AP-per-month schedule I don't see them doing high level content and also being able to deliver their normal stuff. Some high level standalone content might fill the gap but I have not been extremely impressed by what's come out so far.

So your thinking of 2 more 3 parters for The drift event year to come Yakman, that I could live with but I'd still like a full press 6 part AP to wrap up this event honestly.

I hear ya Leon if their tempo, plus the price hike so a bit more extra cash is there perhaps to hire more people to develop more stuff perhaps?

Pretty happy with Vast AP so far once working out some of the kinks in it, and just had a TOTAL BLAST GMing for the first time Grav Train Robbery one shot last nite for 4 totally new Starfinder players. And me thinks we now have 4 more new Starfinder players :)

PAIZOCON and GENCON should give us more info to work with , or so I hope.

The 'event' hasn't even been published yet. A little over-anxious maybe?

Thinking about running GRAV TRAIN for my guys between wrapping up THREEFOLD and starting up ATTACK.

THREEFOLD has been a ton of fun, and we are just starting Book 6, which is going to go way off the rails. Was trying to get them to play super-spies, but I think they'll just go tinfoil hats.

WELP, now we know the other AP for Drift Crisis, The Drift Hackers, level 7-13.

Should be interesting or so I hope

I purchased the Grav Train Robbery and came away a bit underwhelmed by it.

Did you actually play or GM it? its all fine and dandy to just read stuff, but the true test is playing or GMing it in my humble opinion!!

I have Gmed it with 3 different groups now, 1 new 2 old hand groups and they all had a blast, as well as I, as all 3 had different "takes" and experiences. That for me is a home run :)

Different groups and GM's may have different results as usual but on average a very fun ride.

I thought the train was too short, would've liked some more cars in it, didn't like it started in media res.

It's clearly designed with pre-gens in mind so it's great for selling people on the system -- I was kind of looking more for something I could insert into a pre-existing campaign.

Got it, I see now, I added a bit myself, had the party meet up in a bar to check the contract they signed into. So they could RP their backstory and get comfortable with their pre gen and get a chance to spin it if they felt like it, and yep had a nice space bar map for it.

Then a train background map they had to follow the train track and flew over the train with about 6 extra cars (yep a copter team with all their tokens and pilot in it :)) to find the only one with a top hatch. Basic check to repel off the copter, then as written with 1st train car.

Then I added an extra train car for the skill challenge as seeing the NPC' big shots and their guards and how close they all were really amped up the atmosphere when doing that skill contest.

Then on the final car I redid that map (roof opening up and seeing a cool desert scene a bit so they can see the bad boys copter fly in and chase of their ride, LOL loved that part. Then the rest as written, 1 took the me h and the other the speeder bike route for the ending.
