Charges made to account without any product given

Hello,

As of two days ago, I attempted to purchase Book 1 of the Abomination Vaults series by PDF. As it tells me, I would have to go through the process and it would then email me a confirmation letter, then I could download the PDF through the "Digital Content" tab. What has actually happened instead is that when I am asked to fill out the Card Confirmation Number, money is removed from my account and I receive no such email, while the site sits at the exact same screen. I attempted to make the purchase again today, and the exact same thing has happened. I cannot even dispute these transactions as they're apparently still in processing despite more than 48 hours from the first purchase having passed.

I have attempted to call Customer Support, have left messages, and emailed them to no avail. Quite frankly, if I could not place an order, I would understand, but instead I have received neither a refund nor the actual product. This is incredibly frustrating, especially as now I have two charges worth $36 sitting in processing out of my account.

EDIT:

I'd like to resolve this by getting a complete refund on all those purchases, if that's possible.

Hi,

When an order is placed, we immediately authorize your card to ensure that it can be charged when we ship or fulfill your order. An authorization is a non-monetary transaction that merely checks with your bank to ensure that the card is valid and has sufficient funds. Each time you retried the card, or we retried to process the order, your bank was pinged. When this happened your bank put a temporary hold on the funds, which can look like a pending transaction on your end.

Your card was declined because it did not pass the address verification system check. This indicates that there is a discrepancy between the information entered for the card on Paizo.com and the information your bank has on file for the card. Because the card was declined we cannot finalize those authorizations. If not finalized authorizations expire and the holds are released. Please ensure that all the information entered for the payment method is accurate and then try to submit the order again. If you believe that all your information is correct you will need to contact the issuing bank and let them know what is occurring.

I have reversed these authorizations on our end but please allow some time for it to be reflected in your account. Please let me know if I can assist you further :)

Awesome, I don't think I had perfectly understood the process when it went through and that stressed me out. Thank you for the help and the speedy response!
