I am thinking about getting back into running pbp games. I am wondering how most of you handle reactions in 2e games. Back in the day, I would prompt a player for an AoO, and would request my players try to avoid some of the more reactionary classes/abilities in the interest of maintaining game flow.
But, 2e is different. Many classes have some sort of key reaction ability. Plus, reactions are an integral part of the game's rich tactical foundation. At the same time, I think it would be frustrating to have to frequently retcon lengthy posts because a reaction undoes some or all of the actions made in a post.
So, what has been working in your games?
