Oliphaunt deck plans in Roll20

Fly Free or Die

I can get the Oliphaunt deck plans into Roll20 but for the love of god cannot get the grid to match up. Has anyone else succeed and what are the dimensions (unit x unit)? All that blank space without a grid makes it such a pain to import into Roll20.

How to make a roll20 table Scroll down to setting the grid. This method does a little better with slightly wonky map. I'll see if it works with that particular map or if there's something else it has to do

Edit This works fairly well, if it took a little more finagling than most maps. I'd definitely make the roll20 gridlines invisible afterwards though. Did you try to put the whole image on or just the ship? I did the whole image.

I did the whole image but align grid is not working. I can turn off the Roll20 grid but then you loose the option for it to track the numbers of squares you have moved. I have put a bunch of maps into Roll20 but this is by far the biggest headache I have had with one.

Align grid twice, then move it by shrinking and sliding the image around. Worse comes to worse toss me an invite to the table set me as dm I'll give it a poke?

Sometimes it's about how you or they captured the image

Not sure, but the maps from AotS were distorted. The grids had different sizes and so it was impossible to align a grid completely. So maybe that is also here the issue?

Would be nice if Paizo would add grid-free maps to their digital APs, so it would be possible to easily set up maps for VTT.

There is nothing about Paizo maps that is more frustrating than futzing with the grid. The number one way to avoid all of those issues at a stroke -- and which is relatively no work at all to implement -- is just don't add the grid. Gridless art makes all digital users happy, no matter the platform.

No grid: This Is The Way.
