If Sukit was enlarged, 10x10 space, would setting the edge create a 10 ft. barricade?

Vincenzo II

“I’ve gotten used to people staring. Truth be told, I don’t like them much either.” states the tiefling.
The Amazing Vanzetti
|
hmm. For caster types we have a witch, an alchemist, a sorcerer and a mesmerist. No divine casters. Should make things interesting. :)
"'Sorcerer'? I see no sorcerer...and surely, my benighted child, do not tell me you never heard of Razmir, The Living God *makes a noise behind mask midway between chuckling and gagging*?!? The divine walks always among us - *fishes around robes* Look, I've got wands of healing and everything...!"
| cmlobue |
No, just a picture of Obo and some others concealed.
| cmlobue |
Oh, that, no, it's just in OOC text. The slides link is at the top of the page, and you should see seven total (though most have nothing revealed yet). I can add a link inline as well in the future.
Sukit
|
They way I'm figuring it the strips are showing a total number of fingers; 8, 6, 7, 5, 9. The guide shows 4, 2, ?, ?, ?. Subtracting 4 from each gives an order of 4, 2, 3, 1, 5. If anyone has Comprehend Languages to check the Jistkan writing it'll probably provide better hints.
| cmlobue |
You got the right answer, though not in the way the module describes. You are supposed to count the spaces between fingers. Of course, that happens to always be four less than the number of fingers...
Vincenzo II
|
Sorry, work was busy today.
Vincenzo is happy where he is, but if he moved 5ft away from the golems, what would happen? I can’t tell if we’re at the top or the bottom of the slope.
| cmlobue |
No problem. Just wanted to give you a chance to act before botting you.
You're at the top, so if you're not flying, I would say bad things will happen/.
Anastasia the good witch
|
So, if you’re unfamiliar with alchemists, here’s the breakdown.
With rapid shot, fast bombs, and haste, I can throw 4 bombs a round. Tiefling favored class bonus increases the fire damage slightly, as does Point-Blank Shot. The precise bomb feature (that excludes my teammates) is courtesy of the grenadier archetype.
I don’t expect it, but should golem one melt into slag, I’ll happily start bombing golem two. I can exclude five other people, so no problem there.
Vincenzo’s guess is that slow-moving brutes like this have the touch AC of a pumpkin, and a relflex save that’s not much better.
Vincenzo II
|
So, do bombs 2 and 3 count as thrown, or is Vincenzo able to stop after the first one?
| cmlobue |
Just one. I assume you have enough time to see the effects of one attack before making the next. Same logic for changing who iterative attacks target.
| cmlobue |
Unless you have 10 foot reach, not very well. The buttons are along the southeastern wall.
The Amazing Vanzetti
|
I'm terribly sorry for being a total no-show for this long; I will leave it up to you: At this point, should I just bow out, as if I'd never joined?
I see two full pages' worth of missed posts I'd have to catch up on; daunting. How much longer is it likely to be (if it's one of those that would likely only last 5 pages or so, I'll definitely be bowing out - but if it's likely to go on for 10+ pages, that would be a different story)?
Vincenzo II
|
In the absence of some other idea, Vincenzo will break out his portable alchemist’s kit and begin manufacturing a flask of liquid ice.
Looks like it’s DC 25? I can take 10 and get a 40 on alchemy checks, which means I can finish this job in three days.
Vincenzo II
|
This continues to be my answer for order: Can the fire tile be placed first?
So, my guess is that sky goes on top, followed by water, fire, and stone on the bottom, as per the riddle. Anything on cold damage?”
Vincenzo looks to see if fire can be placed first, or if it will fall.
| cmlobue |
The order you add them is not important, only where you place them. They will fall out if you don't put them all in or hold them in place.
Vincenzo II
|
Is there an additional exit? Or not yet?
Are the windows mere holes in the wall, or do they have glass panes?
| cmlobue |
The windows are permanent walls of force. No additional doors have appeared.
Vincenzo II
|
So, my intent is for Vincenzo to be trying the controls. Are the controls and the blue area the same place?
| cmlobue |
Oops, wrong thread. Moving to Gameplay.
Princess Xen
|
Xen has UMG at +21...
Looks like this is some sort of transporter. Xen says. Not sure how to control it but pressing a tile transports everyone in the blue area to a platform.[/b]
| cmlobue |
Sorry, put the previous post in the wrong place. Xen, you need to touch a tile to get this information. If you do that, please repost in Gameplay with the tile you touch.
| cmlobue |
Not with the weapon listed on your character sheet.
