Does a Cruoromancer need to make a concentration check when using Blood Infusion?

It seems to me that the Cruoromancer is taking damage while casting a spell and would need to make a concentration check, is that correct?

As quoted it says nothing about not needing to make one, so yes concentration. On the other hand, is RAI really that you would need to do that every time you use this feature?
