Whoo! A light month. I think the Paizo folks might enjoy a little bit of a breather... And so might my wallet.

Right after GenCon typically is rather light. But I'm relieved as well.

Why are the pawns so collectible?
I think I have all the Pathfinder and Starfinder pawn sets. Interesting, my spell checker just capitalized "Starfinder" for me, but not Pathfinder (I did that manually). Anyway, if I'm missing any it's probably a PF1 AP set or two.
I have all the AP sets, the Bestiary sets and every Starfinder set except Alien Archive 3 which I'll probably pick up today on my way home.

I know that everyone is hyped over their July shipments, but I'm just sitting here waiting to get Devastation Ark in my grubby little hands.

Will be interesting to see if August Authorizations start tomorrow when we still have July shipments pending
I don't know why that would make a difference. I'm pretty sure the two programs are mutually independent.

Many things could make a difference. For example if someone on the back end thought
'hey we can save money by combining orders'
or
'hey we need to manually push orders to get them out'
or
'hey we need to announce what the issue is and whether or not it will also affect august orders'
Those are 3 just off the top of my head that would make it interesting. But agree fully that they should be completely separate. Which leaves something else that would make it interesting to me.

Update: With the July shipment window extending into August, we are delaying order creation for August to give the Warehouse and Customer Service some time to prepare for August shipments.
We now expect to run the order creation auth on Monday August 10, which also means we should begin shipping on Wednesday August 13. Given the light load this month, we still expect to wrap up shipping by Friday August 21.

I think some of your examples are flawed, but okay.
That last problem I don't need to worry about: my July shipment arrived about 15 minutes ago.
APG, check. PF AP, check, SF AP check, SF pocket, check CRB, SF Starship Operations Manual, check, PF adventure, check, PF adventure flip mat, check, PFLO: Legends, check, PF flip tiles, check, 1.5 quarts of partially crushed styrofoam peanuts, check. Special secret mini gift, nope.
Okay, maybe I just dreamed up that last one. :-)

Since the hive mind tends to live here:
I added a 4th subscription to my account. This should allow me to select the Pathfinder Society scenarios.
I know that this doesn't trigger until I get my first Accessories shipment, most likely in September. I assume this means I miss out on August releases, but how does it work?
Do I get an email asking me to make a selection? Is there a selection in my account page when it is triggered?

If you go to manage subscriptions and scroll down there will be a place to select either PFS scenarios or SFS scenarios and you can change it yourself from month to month.

The 13th is a Thursday. Does shipping start on Wednesday the 12th?

I got shipping notification for my July order already, but I was hoping to have Agents book 2 PDF as a little birthday gift from me to me. lol
Most likely - unless they get to your forum posts/emails in the next few days (in which case they may push them out early).
As a general rule, when an active subscription run happens, Paizo's computer will sweep up whatever you have in your sidecart that's ready to go (unless you've specifically set something to ship independently back when you placed a preorder or something).

Shipping Update:
To give Customer Service some time to get caught up and free up resources to be able to respond quickly to messages regarding August subscription orders, we are pushing the order creation authorization back to Thursday, August 13. We estimate shipping to start on Monday, August 17 and end on Wednesday, August 26 (street date). Thank you for your patience!

We will see about your dates. I am skeptical of getting anything on time even with a low release month.
They would have 8 business days to get everything out, and that is assuming that they don't further delay the start of shipping.
I suspect that at some point they may need to slip one month's items to catch up. The trends are not encouraging.

Weird. I just got my Auth-email. It's close to 1am though, Paizo time.
With the August order spawned... is anyone else seeing items in the store not showing up correctly (or at all), and even “disappearing” from your sidecart (though the item count remains “correct”). The Adv GM Screen (Portrait) and a Flip-Mat Classics for Nov/Dec both went wonky on me...
My sidecart says that it contains 18 items, but only 3 of them are showing up. I suspect that they decided that they were permanently out of the other 15 but something went wrong with the decrementing of the count.
So it appears that my problem is almost the exact reverse of yours.

Just because it has spawned does not mean it will be shipped out in a timely manner. There are still people waiting for their APG and other July orders.
My auth was apparently spawned at about 0230 PDT. And yeah, my sidecart is messed up. 4 items, but only showing one. Wish I could remember what was in there.
Fascinating. I opened my order history in another tab, and now *this* tab says (incorrectly) that's where I am.
