AoO and Cover

Can you help me clarify this thing?

Situation: PC and Enemy are adjacent, PC want to make Ranged attack at enemy, Enemy holds melee weapon, they are both are near a possible Cover, does Enemy makes AoO in this situation?

The PC and Enemy have cover from each other and cover prevents AoO from happening.
