Hello, first sorry for my poor english, it's not my native language, I hope I'll be understandable !
In PF2, there's 3 actions per turn. My player liked it a lot.
In PF Unchained, there was a similar system, but there was problems with swift actions and, for example, the action economy of the magus or warpriest.
WHAT IF, in PF1, we play with : free actions + 1 Swift Action + 3 standard or move actions ?
It'll change some things that seems to be balanced for me (as adversaries also have 3 actions) even if everyone has more power than with 2 actions (because of action economy).
Natural attacks could be 2 actions for all natural attacks (or 3, maybe ?).
Rocket tag may be worst, maybe a boost in HP for PC and foes should be necessary. I'm not even sure as, 3 attacks at level 1 with 0/-5/-10 for example, 2 attacks are almost guarantee to fail (except critical..).
What do you think about ?

Hmmm, it would be a little difficult to transfer over, and if you add swift actions on top of up to three standards, your spell casters could throw 4 spells a round.
If your going to switch to three actions, I would leave it as 3 actions, b it they can be move standard or swift, this will still be a spike in power, spellcasters could get 3 spells a round,
Fighters could move, then full attack (with last 2 actions)
But if your group enjoys it, there is nothing wrong with giving it a shot :D
They just need to be aware that monsters can do it too, and the game will likely be a lot more lethal, you may want to implement another rule to help people stay alive, like when a hit would drop you to 0 or below, health stops at 0, or negative 1
Anyway, that's my 2 cents :)

My answer to this was as follows:
You get 3 actions per round. A move action, a standard action, and a free action.
There are no "partial free actions" such as swift actions, etc. It is simply a free action or it isn't.
A move action is resolved normally. A standard action + a move action could be spent together to effectively get a "double move".
A standard action can be used to make a full round attack as per a fighter with multiple attacks. This was put in place specifically because melee classes got burnt the hardest by the move OR attack original rule set under the current action economy of PF1. NOTE: it is worth mentioning that earlier D20 editions didn't have that restriction.
A NOTE ON STANDARD ACTIONS: This does not give non-melee types additional actions, extra spells cast per round, or other such weirdness. Rather it simply allows the melee classes the chance to actually use a core class feature (ie; multiple attacks per round) which they are otherwise denied during most combats.
