RSS Subscription To Private Message Inbox

Is there any way we can "subscribe" to our own inbox?

I'd like to get a notification when a new message arrives. Is there some way to add an RSS feed link to our inbox page?

It is not possible afaik.
But i second that question.

Just wanted this feature and am disappointed that it doesn't exist. Also, please do keep RSS in general, it's one of the best features of the open web!
