Started this so we can help find music that we like but couldn't
get the title. Mine..
It seems to have 'Layla' being said but it isn't Clapton's song. There is clapping at the start and the main singer at a point goes 'gotta gotta gotta gotta'"
You can sometimes enter a line or two of a song's lyrics in Google and you'll find the one you're looking for. I do this a lot and it's helped track down dozens of songs. It sometimes works on the search bar of Youtube, as well.
My uncle (RIP) did me a cassette of a kinda country-rock band who did a version of 'Night Owl' by Otis Redding, plus a song about burning down the cornfield, and one that started 'Let me see you painting...'
I have tried Googling it - I have tried most things, but I have never managed to find out who it was by, more's the pity.

For a while I couldn't remember who sang this song...then google helped. So for those that have trouble remember, I give you something from my childhood/MTV time
I remember playing this on the air when I worked in radio. They also wrote two songs Quiet Riot covered, "Cum On Feel the Noize" and "Mama We're all Crazee Now".

Yes I know that now Limey. I just forgot about that when I heard it again when I was shopping at Kroger's.
Apparently, Kroger is a cornucopia of classic rock. I have friends who shop there weekly and the husband is always commenting about it.

I dunno about THAT, but I admit, I heard a few songs that I hadn't in while when I go there...
I was in a Walgreens not too long back and heard a song I'd never heard before. I recognized it as Thin Lizzy right away though. I was almost stupefied...lol
