[Sunburst Games] Realms of Atrothia: Help spread the word!!

Sunburst Games just launched a Kickstarter for the amazing looking Realms of Atrothia: Primary Expansion. 3PP, Pathfinder 1st Edition compatible! Help me spread the word so I can get my hands on this book!

If you know of me, I'd like to add that my young daughter had the opportunity to create a rabbitfolk race for this release and would be over the moon if she could see it come to fruition! She's a huge Pathfinder fan.

Thanks, everyone!

This is not gonna happen. Only two publishers have been able to get such money and that's Frog God Games and Kobold Press (I think first Mythic Mania was also there, but can't remember any other 3pp that managed to get 50k). Also, PF1 is at the end of it's life cycle. I'm sorry, I don't want to be a downer, but the goal is just not realistic.

I dig the art y'all have so far.

Okay, please don't take this wrong way, this is meant as well-intentioned feedback:

I think that there's a solid chance that there'll be demand for a continuation of PF 1e support. I do not think your project per se is doomed, as I have seen e.g. Aethera hit marks that high and deliver.

However:

You're asking the consumers to place a lot of trust in your project, and I am not that confident in the rules integrity here, as I don't see a veteran designer on the team. Considering that I think that these featured in your legacy races pdf, it'd be nice to know how much new content your provide.

I'd also advise in favor of taking a close look at rules integrity.

The example rules featured in the layout preview (which probably were in the legacy races pdf as well) of e.g. the smite evil integrated into the aasimar race actually results in quite a lot of interaction issues that require clarification, which doesn't exactly instill confidence. So, smite evil - does that mean that aasimars suddenly qualify for feats based on it? If so, what about pala level prerequisites paired with smite evil? How does it interact for aasimar paladins? Multiclass characters? Do the aasimars now get additional uses at higher character levels, analogue to the paladin? How would that work for aasimar paladins? Double smite uses??

Bonus types are also missing from the android's abilities....and that's just two pretty big snafus I found with a cursory glance.

I wish you all the best with your project, I really do.

Thanks for taking a look! I'll be sure to pass your concerns onto the creator.

If the Kickstarter doesn't work out you might think about releasing this content in shorter supplements. I'm sure there are people who'd be interested in the new races who don't care for rewritten ones, and some would pay good money for the Ascension thing on its own.
