Hi all
I have a question about how certain encounters are designed (in this case Influence encounters) that is getting pretty much no traction on the Pathfinder specific section of the forum
I would be interested to know how it works for the writers when they are adding it into modules
Is there a way to reach out to them? And are there any that are particularly more responsive / active than others?
Or should I just not think to go down this route
Thanks

Most of the PFS authors are active on the forums. Also knowing a few authors, if you were to send them a polite PM they may respond to you direct.
Another resource for you may be the various panels from Paizo Cons past about this topic. Know Direction records if not all then a vast majority of the panels and posts them for peeps to listen to at one's leisure. I'd suggest starting there.
Happy hunting!

Each author, designer, and developer is going to handle things a little differently. Some watch the messageboards quite closely. Others look only at certain parts of the messageboards with any frequency but also spend a decent amount of time on other platforms like Twitter, Discord, or Facebook groups (that’s me). Some don’t engage much in social media at all.
One of the reasons we usually encourage asking and answering questions on the messageboard (as opposed to by email) is because it helps a wider audience have access to the information. Some folks are in the habit of messaging me just to link a public question that hasn’t gotten my attention yet, and that works out alright.
Since you’re asking about Influence encounters and I’ve handled a lot of those in Pathfinder Society development, feel free to provide a link to follow here.

My question was here:

And also in Thurston’s ask anything section on the advice above:

The mechanic does appear at least 4 times in PFS if I recall (I did consider posting in the PFS section as well)
I appreciate any help
