Semantics yes i get that theres a sub class of items by that name but would weapons not be technological if they are powered a laser gun is not an analog weapon so it has to be technological in nature. [Not natural as it grows in the wild >.>]
The game distinguishes between "technological items" (the category of items breithauptclan mentions above) and "technological weapons" (weapons without the analog trait). A technological weapon is not a technological item. Compare the technomancer magic hacks Fabricate Tech and Fabricate Arms.

Technological Items is an actual subclass of equipment. Table 7-26 in the core rulebook.
Things like comm units, medkits, flashlights, and a laser microphone.
And cable, and fire extinguishers, and handcuffs, and tape.
What is and is not considered technological in Starfinder is EXTREMELY arbitrary.
I really want an arm mounted weapon.
Why do I keep hearing this? There are like THREE different ways to accomplish this now. Do people not read the game they play?

Because its cool, useful, and just plain neato. Maybe i missed those books or they did not catch my eye with thier all too obvious names like "the arm Canon mod"..... what are those three options btw? >_>
I prefer cybernetic enhancements that leave your mortal flesh intact. Not cybernetic enhancements that do way with body parts. I am edgey but not that edgey dark. Why yes good sir please hack off my arm so i can attach a weapon to the stump and hold the anesthetic. @.@

Arm mounted weapons just off the top of my head:
1 - Quickdraw Hideaway Limb with weapon mount - Starfinder Core Rulebook pg. 209 (This one doesn't require you to give up the limb your parents gave you.)
2 - Weaponized Prosthesis, Starfinder Armory pg. 89
3 - Weapon Spikes, Starfinder #2: Temple of the Twelve pg. 53
4 - Tetrad Rings, Starfinder Armory pg. 54
5 - Battlegloves, Starfinder Core Rulebook pg. 171
6 - Shell Knuckles, Starfinder Armory pg. 53
And I'm sure there are plenty of other options as well.
