I love the game too! But haven't found anyone to play it with in Vancouver :( Its great to read though!
A lot of people play Starfinder Society online. Try either of the online lodges; Cosmic Crittermanders or Roll20 Starfinders. Maybe youll be able to get some sessions in there.
I think there's some pathfinder in vancouver you could ask if they have starfinder.
I've had some good experiences with roll20 Starfinders. Takes a bit of setup, but is well worth it once the game starts (and people in that community always seem willing to help if need be).
