So It's been a month since my last Eberron game and one of my players reached out to me to see if something new can be done. I'd like to try something in Breland this time. Perhaps a murder mystery (Murder on the Lightning Rail?), or maybe something simpler.
Tizimine's Eberron conversion to Pathfinder is here.
The map of Khorvaire is here.
The player characters are in Stillstone Holt, a small, sleepy fishing village on the island of Stormreach. Little do the inhabitants of Stormreach know but the little fishing village supports a sizeable population of Kalashtar. The Kalashtar are there to watch for evil in Stormreach (mostly in the form of the Inspired). The PCs are here, or on the way to the fishing village. The Campaign will focus on the Inspired being a threat.
Most any race is open from Tizimine's conversion. Players wishing to play a more 'exotic' race (like from the ARG) will have to remember that their race would come from Droaam, Darguun, or Qbarra. Full blooded orcs are handled differently so they aren't recommended.
Players are expected to make level 1 characters: 25 points, two traits, and standard random money generation.
The campaign may move to Sarlona to better handle the Inspired threat. So information from Secrets of Sarlona can be used for Character creation.
Try to choose a class for your character that can fit into a high fantasy campaign (that's why for the 25 point buy). While any character class can potentially fit, some fit better in low fantasy campaigns. The campaign starts out as low fantasy, but may rise higher. Although, players looking to create an Artificer should look at the Alchemist instead, because that crafting class is better balanced than the Artificer.
Players may roll their character's backgrounds in Ultimate Campaign (which, in my opinion, does not create colorful backgrounds), background skills may also be used.
Player characters can choose to be from any of the five nations, well any of the nations that are extant. Cyre citizens are displaced because of what happened during the Last War.
Players may use Blood of the Moon to create their shifter characters.
Players wishing to use one of those 'exotic' races (Kitsune, Catfolk, et. al.) may use Blood of the Beast. I have a copy and I will allow it. I also have a copy of Legacy of Dragons if anyone wants to play a character with some dragon blood.
Well, I think I got everything covered. Lets see who is interested.

A few miscellaneous questions. I'm not even sure if they impact my decisions, but they occurred to me as I was reading:
1) As far as DSP materials go, just Psionics, right? No Path of War (which is fine with me, just making sure)?
2) Are Paizo occult classes/material OK in addition to psionics, assuming they stay within Eberron flavor?
3) Warforged who take the adamantine plating trait get reduced movement. Would fighters' Armor training let them regain that movement rate?

I totally want to make a crafter wizard. Since I can't be an artificer and get 13 extra feats on an already good class with lvl 6 spellcasting and the ability to cast any spell at all as a standard as if they were a lvl 9 caster as a full-round action because it would be unbalanced;)
I wanted to know if the 5th and 7th feats on this list
Exceptional Artisan, Extraordinary Artisan were allowable.

One more point I'll ask about for now.
One of the ideas I'm mulling over is a Psychic Investigator. I think it would work very well for a Tharashk inquisitive. I know you said you'd prefer pisonics over occult material; if I wanted to go this route, would you be amenable to doing a little ad hoc surgery and replacing the archetype's occult spellcasting with psionic manifesting?

Turns out last night, I watched The Tick then fell asleep on the sofa, so no Psychic Investigator revamp for me. :-)
Which is okay, because of the two frontrunner ideas in my head, neither is that. Option 1: a Ghaash’kala Archer, either a Ranger or a Warpriest. Option 2: a Warforged Aegis. I'll know by the end of Monday whether I've got the time to commit to this.

I'll just play Devil's Advocate for a second, and say the OA Kineticist delivers its concept beaucoup better than the DSP equivalent. If one class was gonna get a waiver, I'd nominate that one.
Buy enough of my opining on fights in which I've got no dog. :-) I'll have Zohruk (Half orc, Divine Tracker Ranger) written up by tonight, and if I'm feeling ambitious, I'll get Breacher (Warforged Aegis) going as well.

PS - The Silver Flame seems to have lost a domain in the course of that guy's conversion (Exorcism). Any thoughts on a replacement, ideally one that has an associated Warpriest blessing?

Just keeping Eberron the way it was thought up. Occult Adventures was made after Eberron. I wanted to keep Eberron to what has made it great, and that includes DSP psionics and not (hehe) Oa.
I have to take a look through d20pfsrd for a suitable replacement, but I think you're looking at an Inquisitive's domain for exorcism. Hmm, there seems to be nothing related to exorcism. Use the domain out of the Eberron Campaign Setting. As for Warpriest blessings for the Silver Flame: Fire, Good, Healing, and Law. I'll have to create an Exorcism blessing out of whole cloth and I don't have the time to do that right now.

Okay cool. I don't have access to the other psionics stuff for Eberron via Herolab, so I'll come up with something else. I have a couple ideas actually. Just need to come up with what'll work best and most fun for me.
Any idea what the deadline will be? I'm actually on a deadline at the moment so I'll only be able to sort out my crunch later in the week.

I expect that a lot of elves will not be happy about her existence.

I had a Kalashtar UnMonk on the drawing board, but Zohruk and Breacher both cut the figurative line in my head. :) Zohruk will at least be down with the whole "Fighting evil outsiders" thing, while Breacher would have psionic capacity in his favor, so whichever one ends up my final submission, I'll have some leanings toward the threat in question.

Hello, I am really interested in getting into an Eberron Game... been years since I played there.
I would like to submit Gerryt Plainsman a Halfling native to the talenta plains, currently employed by house Jorasco, and his mount Glen the Clawfoot .
Nineteen years ago in the halfling city of Gatherhold a young Noble of house Jorasco met a young barbarian lass. Despite the fact that the noble was married and a prominent member in his halfling house, he was taken by the savage beauty of the young Talenta Plains maiden. An affair soon followed and subsequently hidden and written off as a youthful indiscretion.
Gerrytt Plainsman is the product of this union. Gerrytt was raised by his mother amongst the Nomadic Halfling tribes of the Talenta plains and has only met his father a handful of time. While his father will not claim him publicly (out of fear of what knowledge of his past affair would do to both his reputation and marriage), his father has arranged a role for the young halfling in house Jorasco. More out of curiosity than anything else the young halfling has taken up his fathers offer and finds himself traveling outside of the Talenta Plains for the first time in his life.
He has no idea why his father has arranged for him to travel to Stillstone Holt, but he's enjoying seeing so many different places in his travels.

As threatened, the first draft on Breacher. :) I know there are some inconsistencies between Warforged as they appear in HL and the ruleset you're using; I'll iron them out ASAP. I'll add in some backstory elements and such as opportunity allows.
