Scenario 1-12 (Ashes of Discovery) GM Prep (Spoilers)

Not sure if this goes in GM discussion or SFS roleplaying guild forums, so I'll just stick it here and if it is in the wrong forum a moderator will move it, I guess?

So, for those unaware, SFS scenario 1-12 asks the GM to make up an entirely new alien species for the scenario, and possibly multiple times (for multiple playthroughs), by rolling on a table. Well, instead of doing that, I've stated up several aliens based on pop culture that you can use, along with what scenarios would work well for them. I've had to stretch a few, and there are slight modifications to each (most of the time barely affecting the mechanics of the scenario, if at all.)

So anyway, Here is a link to the google doc with 8 options one for each cultural trait mentioned in the book. Each one doesn't repeat any of the physical traits either, though some repeat the hiring corporation.

I'd love some feedback or other options that I can throw up for more people!

In the recent website adjustment there's now just one Organized Play Forum, which is then subdivided into PFS, SFS, ACG and GM Prep.

I personally liked having SFS GM Prep and PFS GM Prep separated, but I can understand the other view as well.

Also, I’m in the process of updating the file to 2 options per culture, resulting in 16 options.

Have to read your audience I suppose.

Just pulled ponies on a group I’m doing a PbP with, waiting for their reaction. I did warn them that things were going to be silly and that it was going to be ‘Saturday Morning Cartoon-like’ so they at least knew what they signed up for.

More updates to the file. There are now 15 options, I am having trouble thinking of a regenerating creature that could be hiding from the swarm.

Just wondering now that the scenario’s been out for a while, has anyone used my google dock? I know one guy’s done Ponies to mixed reviews, and I’ve done ponies and TMNT, which were both appreciated. Any others? How did it go?

I just wanted to bump this because I noticed a discrepancy as I was prepping this scenario. The table GMs roll on is inconsistent with the scenario text in the case of Hellknights; the scenario text says Order of the Nail, and the GM table says Order of the Pike. Which one is it? I'm leaning towards Nail, but I'd like some clarification. Thanks!
