After reading the entire adventure path, I think the middle and end could use a lot of expanding. Part 4, 5 and 6 seem very fast pace, and the PCs seem like they will level very fast over a short period of in game time, especially part 5 and 6.

I'd love to expand those parts of the story to slow down the pace and explore other areas only touched on by the path. I'm sure I can find lots of reasons why the enemies in the path require more time to finalize their plans before the last book.

Does anyone have advice on Pathfinder modules, scenarios, etc. that might easily fit the theme and story that could be adapted for addition to the path?

I'm open to non-Pathfinder material, even old D&D stuff that might fit in well.

The module "From Shore to Sea" and the info on the Sun Temple Colony from "Lost Cities of Golarion" are both very useful. "Aquatic Adventures" is also pretty handy.

I suggest raiding the Savage Tide AP (published in Dungeon) if you can find it. The parts set on the island seem very suitable for this AP. (Incidentally, the major NPC Lavinia from Savage Tide has worked brilliantly for us in multiple campaigns, and substituting her for Ramona might improve the Azlant AP.)

You could also look at Carrion Crown module 4. Converting the Deep Ones to skum and other aboleth-flavored creatures shouldn't be too hard.

There are numerous good island vignettes in Skull and Shackles. The cyclops island in, I think, module 4 could fit in well, as could various bits of 2 and 3.

And the previous poster's suggestion of "From Shore to Sea" is so spot-on it's ridiculous. My group found this module hard on morale, but a party that's going to succeed in Azlant will need to be well prepared for enemies of this kind, and hopefully will have a better time with them than we did.

Does anyone know where the island of the Sun Temple Colony is located with respect to the island of Ancorato (the first island explored in the Ruins of Azlant adventure path)?

According to page 6 of the first Ruins of Azlant book, the Sun Temple Colony is about 300 miles north of Ancorato. So it's quite a distance if you decide to make the players go there in between adventures. However, only people who have read this will know, so you could easily make it a little closer if you want to use it.
